Description

Specialties

Sadly, in the past few years, most of the furniture stores in central Ohio that offered affordable quality furnishings have closed.

For 63 years, Hilliards Furniture has been pleased to represent very nice middle to upper-middle quality furniture. We try to deal with «Made in the USA» companies whenever possible. We do offer a limited number of off-shore vendors with, what we feel, outstanding quality.

Here is a list of our manufacturers we represent:

AA Laun; American Drew; Best Chair; Butler Specialty; Colonial Furniture; Durham; Fairfield Chairs; Fine Furniture Design; Flexsteel; Hammary; Hekman; Hooker Furniture; Howard~Miller; Kincaid Furniture; Lancer; Leisters; Norwalk Furniture; Ort; Reual James; Saloom; Stanley; Uttermost; Wesley~Allen and Zimmerman

History

Established in 1953.

Dublin’s oldest retail business.

We’ve been here before Dublin became Dublin!

Meet the Business Owner

Mindy K.

Business Owner

Hilliards Furniture Company is the oldest retail business in Dublin & oldest furniture store in central Ohio. Founded by Jim McKitrick when Dublin was a little rural village 63 years ago. We’ve been in the same location since August 1953. A family-owned business, we lost Jim suddenly in January 2005. Now one of Jim’s daughters (Mindy) runs the business with the help of her husband Jon and a couple of cousins.

In January 2016, we began to consolidate and remodel our showroom. Cheer Combine, a training program for middle & high school cheerleaders, is occupying two former showrooms. Hilliards Furniture WILL BE OPEN during our remodeling. .. pardon our dust!

The store might be hard to find the first time you come. Before their current passion with «round ’bouts,» Dublin expanded the 2-lane Avery Road bridge (over Routes 33 & 161) and added a couple of ponds with fountains and a hospital. We’re located at the end of OLD Avery Road (off Shier Rings). Prepare to be surprised!
