Hyperbaric oxygen therapy (HBOT) is a medical treatment that delivers 100% oxygen to a person within a pressurized chamber. Each hyperbaric oxygen treatment is called a «dive.» During treatment 100% oxygen fills the hyperbaric chamber while atmospheric pressure is simultaneously increased. This therapeutic combination causes oxygen concentration within the body to increase 15 to 20 times normal. Increased oxygen concentrations help the body initiate cellular processes that can accelerate healing and aid in the recovery from certain conditions and illnesses.

Dr. Serrano is a graduate of Kansas State University and earned his medical degree from Kansas University. Dr. Serrano is a medical doctor, professor at two universities, researcher, lecturer and author, and has help formulate several dietary supplements for pre and post workout recovery, and fat loss. Currently he operates a family medical practice in Pickerington, Ohio.
