Infiniti of Columbus

I have been dealing with Infiniti of Columbus for 6 years. I currently own a 2003 Infiniti G35. The service/​parts department have been excellent to work with. They always take time to answer all of my questions and make sure that I am satisfied. I work with Mike and Jason and highly recommend them for all or your service/​parts needs.

I did a used car inspection here, I was buying an Infiniti on Craigslist and wanted to ensure the car was solid before purchasing.
They had a huge surprise on the car inspection — they claimed the power steering pump, rack, and hoses all needed to be replaced for a grand total of $ 3200. They said the power steering hoses were leaking and it destroyed the pump. They claimed they had never seen this happen before. I thought it was fishy because 1 — if the pump was leaking, why was the power steering fluid full? That was the first thing I checked on the car. 2 — I just drove it for 30 minutes and the power steering worked flawlessly. 3 — They’ve never seen this before? That just sounds sketch.
So the seller takes it his independent mechanic and he thoroughly tests the power steering pump and rack and finds nothing wrong and finds no leaks.
The seller then, at my request brings it to the other dealer in town and they inspect it and they «it has normal wear and tear and we don’t recommend replacing it anytime soon.» They did recommend replacing the hoses though for a few $$$.
Shame on this dealer for pushing unnecessary repairs like that. I drove from Cleveland to purchase the car and had to leave empty handed. Now I will be taking another trip to purchase the car which wouldn’t have been necessary if they didn’t try and scam me in the first place. Stick to Germain.

Terrible service. Infiniti easton much more efficient and sales much easier to deal with.

I am an out of state buyer and I purchased an used G37 last month from this dealership. Before we get into the review, let me proclaim that it was completely my fault that I did not fly out there to examine the car because I simply trusted their excellent reviews online. Big mistake.
I have asthma that I use inhalers for on a regular basis. From the very beginning, I specifically asked if this was a smoker car and they repeated said no. The salesman said he personally examined the vehicle carefully and it was in excellent shape inside out with nothing worth noting. Out of caution, I paid $ 129 for an independent report by AIM and it came back clean (this was a waste of money as the report missed a ton of issues like multiple vertical scratches on the driver side window, busted license plate light, cigarette smell etc).
Feeling confident, I paid $ 800 to get the car transported by someone I trust locally (he used a flat bed and only transported my car so I know it wasn’t damaged during transit) and within one day, it started reeking like cigarette smoke. Apparently, they sprays something to mask the smell but it wore away. I called my salesman immediately and he said again «no, it was never smoked in» etc…
Upon further examination, I noticed multiple cigarette burns along the driver seat carpet and on the head liner as well. The driver side window had multiple vertical scratches that were deep enough to the point it could not be polished. One of the license plate lights was also completely cracked and bulb shattered.
Okay — no big deal because it was my fault so I tried to remedy the situation. I bought a new license plate light assembly/​bulb and replaced it myself. I also paid the local Infiniti dealer over $ 600 to replace the window and the local auto detail shop $ 500 for a complete interior detail/​shampoo AND multiple ozone treatments. Ozium and everything under the sun was tried as well to no avail. Despite the money spent, the cigarette smell is still present and the auto detail guys said there is nothing more they can do as it will be impossible to remove all of the cigarette smoke unless they start replacing parts. Sigh.
I honestly wanted to give this dealership a GREAT review because their service was actually pretty good. However, I feel like this process could have gone much better. Could it be that the salesman had a dull sense of smell? Perhaps. Could it be that the salesman just didn’t look carefully enough to notice the multiple cigarette burns? Perhaps. Could it be that this was all a series of unfortunate events? Perhaps but very unlikely. I do know one thing though — if you plan to buy a car here from out of the area, FLY/​DRIVE IN and see it for yourself before you take their word for it.
I will be trading the car in and taking a 5k loss as soon as I receive the title. Buyer Beware.

They state on their website the winner for excellence in customer service. JP the sales manager told me that i am «just driving a kia» and was upset that i questioned him on his value of my car and couldnt tell me enough that my payments were going to be high. Only concern is he never pulled my credit to see what i could afford. He never asked for my finacial status. This is customer service? To belittle me for driving a kia? Tell me that i am too poor for an infiniti? Hmmmm… Wonder if he told the white couple that who was working with their salesperson and not him. Why was he compelled to come and tell me what i can or cannot afford? Hmmmm… Execellent customer service if i say so myself right?

We purchased a used car yesterday. Everything about the transaction was top notch. This place makes you feel as though you are on «cruise control». Our salesman, Alec T., the finance guy and manager were great. We have bought many cars and have never felt this comfortable with how we were treated. Thank you and we will be back.

I’m a returning customer, purchasing my second car from the dealership in the last year. The team is wonderful & responsive. Steve Graham is my sales guy and I recommend him to anyone. He was patient and understood the specifics of what I wanted.
The service department is easily the best I’ve had when I purchased an Infiniti.

I was very displeased with Infiniti of Columbus. This is going to be a long review however you should READ BEFORE YOU SHOP HERE. I bought a used 09 Volkswagen Jetta from them a few months ago. I test drove the car in the rain and liked everything about the car. I asked if it had a keyless entry remote and an owners manual and they stated that it did and were inside in a closet in the building. They let me use the valet key for the test drive and the owners manual was not inside the glove box… so I trusted them that they were telling the truth. I went home and sat on the decision and them made an offer two days later. After I sent an offer they kept calling me asking if I would pay more and I said «No, I want to stay under this price, take it or leave it.» Finally they accepted my offer after calling me 4 times. I signed the paper work and was ready to get the keys and title and asked them if I could have the remote and owner’s manual. They stated they did not have either. I was not happy but said okay, that is fine I will just buy them offline. I then went out to the car and drove home. I noticed on the windshield it was SCRATCHED all across the shield from the windshield wipers. I understand that I bought the car as is, but I never saw it during the test drive because it was pouring rain the entire time and I thought it was from bugs being smeared on my drive home. I NEVER thought a dealer would sell a car like this. Well I decided to buy a new windshield because I knew they would not fix it since I bought it AS IS. It gets worse… One of the tires had a plug in NO JOKE the wall of the tire. You are NEVER to put a plug in the wall of a tire because it can blow out! So I had to purchase a new tire. Which good thing I did because the previous owner drove on a flat for a long time and ruined the belts in the tire. Then to top it all off I now have an oil leak. When they received the car they changed the oil and never tightened the filter up enough apparently and I thought that was the issue so I changed the oil and filter just to be certain it was okay. Well it appears that the filter housing has a crack in it. The car is only a 2009 and I have had it since December spent $ 550 dollars on and it is only April. These problems are not Volkswagens fault but Infiniti of Columbus, they should have fixed the problems before it ever was placed on the used lot. I suggest you just take your business elsewhere, they are liars, scammers, and not easy to work with. I could go on and on. BE SMART & SHOP ELSE WHERE!

Not sure about the Car sales, but the service and part departments are very good.
I didn’t buy G35 from them, but you would have thought I did. Treat you with respect and try to work with you. They are not the cheapest but in most cases they are fair.
I would recommend the service department to anyone who has a infiniti.

This place is a total joke. Traded in a Honda Accord for a BMW 325XI. Within a week of buying this car I already had problems with the cooling system ($ 400). Few months after that the starter died ($ 900). Washer fluid motor died ($ 125) right after that. Just to name a few of the major issues. Everytime I contacted them about these consistent problems they wanted absolutely no part in assisting me in repairs. Was basically told that it was not their problem. Clearly they weren’t interested in earning a repeat customer. When I finally had enough and took it back and said we need to work out a new deal for another car, they offered me less than half of what I bought the car for 9 months previous and then wouldn’t work with me on financing for another vehicle. They couldn’t get me out of there fast enough. BOTTOM LINE: NEVER BUY A USED CAR FROM HERE. THEY’RE NOT INTERESTED IN YOU UNLESS YOU’RE BUYING A NEW INFINITI.

Not the easiest place to find off I-​270. Excellent service department, very knowledgable and friendly. They’ve never taken me for a ride yet! ;-)

The service department really do go out of their way to provide great service. Brought our g35 in for a routine oil change and while they were at it, the replaced the seat belt in no time at all as the existing belt had a twist in it, that was more of an irritation than a fault.
Nice, clean and quiet environment in which to wait. Plenty of amenities available to while away the time.

I experienced the best customer service at the Infiniti service center. I had a used Infiniti, not purchased from this dealership. They didn’t ask and didn’t care. I still received highest quality service and attention with every visit. I was allowed a temporary car while my car was being serviced. Or, if I choose to wait for something like an oil change I was privileged to get free coffee, hot chocolate, soda, water, juice, baked goods, reading (good reading) materials and tv (not trashy either!).
Service was always exceptional, and priced well. Although some Infiniti parts cost more than average, the service itself was totally fair.
I have worked with Brad a number of times. He understands that life goes on even if your car doesn’t and is happy to help bring the two back together. I would recommend him to anyone.

Too bad this is the only Infiniti dealership in and around Columbus. I love Infiniti cars (ok, maybe not the huge monster they just put on the lots), but that has nothing to do with this particular Infiniti dealership.
Infiniti of Dublin has a limited number of new cars to give people enough options to choose from. The person we were dealing with was new there, so there were a few questions she couldn’t yet answer. Basic questions, too.
Instead of bringing someone else to answer our questions, she kept on walking back and forth to talk to the manager, which took a loooong time. To make a long story short, they they could’ve been better. The sales person listened to our questions but failed to ‘hear’ them. The bottom line is that we’ll probably come back there but ONLY because it’s the only infiniti dealership in the area.
