I used this group for a total of 3 years. There were several things that were done in error but there was one thing in particular that his company did that required me to look elsewhere for tax preparation:
He filed an extension and stated there wasn’t any issue with doing this. I didn’t need to file an extension and didn’t request to file one either. Unfortunately, he didn’t tell me that I would have to pay interest on any taxes owed during this extension period. When we finally filed taxes later on in the fall I was charged roughly $ 150 dollars by the IRS for interest on the taxes. When I brought this up with him he didn’t address the issue in any capacity whatsoever. He didn’t explain why he filed the extension, didn’t offer to reimburse me for part of this fee… nothing.
Those are the facts.

Joe has been my CPA for the last ten years, he has always been there when we have a tax question, knows the code like the back of his hand and is a great person as well. If you can get on his client list, your tax worries will be handled.

I’ve used their tax preparation services the last 3 years, and I’m completely satisfied. I called up Joe for some tax planning questions when I first moved into the area, and he answered my tax queries even before I became a client. I’m probably just a small customer in terms of the complexity of my return and my annual tax preparation fee, but I appreciate that he’s always available for my tax-​related questions.

Having worked with numerous CPAs over the years, I’ve learned what I need from a CPA. His company is proactive, responsive and very personable in caring for our business and family taxes. Go no further… Thank you Mr Gordillo!

Joe was referred to me about 4 years ago when a prior CPA had made a mess of my taxes. Joe was able to unravel what the other guys had done, got it all straightened out and i was able to sleep again. No one better, and as an added bonus he is a kind and thoughtful man.

There is a difference between a CPA and a certified tax preparer. Make sure you understand what that is and the implications of using a preparer before using anyone who isn’t a CPA.

Joe Gordillo has been doing my Taxes for the past 10 years or so. He’s very through and always looking out for my best interest. He’s very hands on with all of his clients.

Joe has been our CPA for the past 4 years. I used to buy software and figure out my own taxes, but now I pay somebody who knows a lot more than me. He sends out a questionnaire and when you bring it back sit down for a session and talk about taxes and voila, taxes complete. The price is based on the complexity of your taxes and he is very reasonable. The turnaround time is quick. It could not be any easier. Highly recommended.
