This office is off the hook! I was impressed with how friendly the staff was and with their state of the art equipment. Sandra did a great job on my cleaning. I’m usually a total baby with teeth stuff, but Sandra was quick and efficient. The office also gave me a welcome kit! So cute! I’ll be getting more work done here (cavities and whitening). I’m hoping I have a great experience in the future as well. Will update.

Perfect place to bring your kids. No complaints from my son and he is 11 with braces. Friendly and curtious staff. Conveniently located in the Big 5 Sporting Goods shopping center.

Great dentist and staff. Been going here a few years now. Had Invisiign done and my teeth turned out great. Dr Huang is terrific as well as her staff from the front desk and the hygienist Sandra everyone is very nice and do a great job.

Seeing Dr. Huang and her staff is like meeting up with long-​time-​no-​see friends. It is something I actually look forward to. I had my Invisalign and dental treatments there. Dr. Huang and her staff kept me updated and educated at every step. It was their faith in success, encouragement and professionalism that helped me along the 1 ½ years journey of Invisalign. Now I can smile with confidence, proudly showing off my teeth. I highly recommend Live & Smile, with my positive experience.

It couldn’t get any better! After searching years and years for an all in one dental office, there is one in the area. Live & Smile just moved into the neighborhood and yes I was skeptical. There are so many to choose from, which claim to be perfect. But I must say, Live & Smile really are just that. They are prompt when returning your phone calls. Briana always sounds so cheerful and she really tries to get to know you, as do the rest of the staff.
My first interaction with them was through a complimentary examination (free). This involved examining the teeth, receiving a written estimate, and recommendations. At other dentist offices, I would have to wait and get this surprise bill, saying that the insurance company didn’t cover something. Not with them, everything was upfront. Surgery can be performed right in the office and we didn’t have to wait until a special day when the surgeon could be in the office, because he has to make rounds throughout the general area. The dental assistants were also cheerful and glad to see us. They made us feel right at home, calling us by name. Snacks, tea, coffee, Free Wi-​Fi, and yes TV while your wait, who could want for more. They even offer braces, which means, we don’t have to search for an Orthodontist, it’s right in the office. Live & Smile Rocks!

I am blown away by the staff at this office — they are simply the BEST when it comes to care and hospitality of their patients.
I waited until I was through with all of my appointments to write this review, a total of three including cleaning, fillings, and wisdom teeth extraction.
During my first visit for a cleaning, Sandra was extremely careful and meticulous. We updated all of my dental files, X-​rays, the works. She was very gentle, especially in areas where I pointed out sensitivity. After the cleaning, I received a nice gift (mug, brush, floss, pen, etc) at the front desk before they waved me off.
Second visit was for fillings. I had no idea I’d need shots, but as soon as Dr. Leung told me, I let her know how terribly afraid I am of needles. She reassured me that they use a topical numbing gel, a vibrating tool that distracts from the poke, and administer the numbing agent very slowly so I would not feel it. She let me know when to close my eyes so I wouldn’t have to see the needle at all and I didn’t feel a thing! Kandice, the dental assistant, also helped ease any anxiety I had and did a great job. :D!
Third visit was finally for my wisdom teeth extractions. Jade, the dental assistant, made sure I was completely comfortable when she brought me in. Such a sweet lady! She reminds me so much of my aunts. After I settled in, Dr. Huang introduced herself and let me know the entire process and answered all of my questions. Again, I mentioned my fear of needles and she was very patient in administering the shot very slowly. I wanted to make sure I was as numb as possible so I wouldn’t feel ANYTHING… gotta make sure, you know. The extractions didn’t take long at all and I’m happy to report that their suggestion to take ibuprofen beforehand minimized any swelling. I went about my day and no one even noticed any difference in my face. Everything is healing up very nicely, and quickly too!
After each of my appointments, the office called the next morning to check on how I was doing and that was really the cherry on top of their amazing work. They really do care about their patients and it shows. I’m so grateful to have found a dental office with doctors and staff I genuinely enjoy seeing. Jenny, the office manager, and Briana, the scheduling/​finance coordinator, have both been so very gracious and kind. I can’t say enough good things about this practice!

I just had my dental fillings done today and I love the result! My teeth look brand new. The experience was made over easy by Dr. Huang’s gentle hands. It was a total stress-​free comfortable experience! Can’t wait to get back on my next appointment. Looking forward to complete my journey towards a beautiful and healthy smile!

I’ve been a patient of Dr. Huang for almost 3 years now. My first task for them was in regard to restructuring my lower teeth in order make room for a missing tooth, and then follow up with an implant. Dr. Huang and her team put together a great invisalign plan for me. They were extremely helpful with regards to my insurance and getting me the best deal possible.
While the invisalign was a task in itself Dr. Huang and her team made it an extremely smooth process, giving me tips, advice, on how to get the best results. They went out of their way to transform my smile and couldn’t be happier. My implant was painless, and she even made me 3 different implants just to make sure the coloring was perfect. It is now flawless and you cannot tell its there.
This long process would not have been the same without their expertise and guidance with invisalign and I could not imagine doing this with another doctor. Her staff is all extremely nice, and will definitely go the extra mile for you every time.
I would highly recommend Live and Smile Dental to anyone look for general dentistry or anything cosmetic. My experience has been wonderful and I will be a long time client.

I’ve been meaning to review Live & Smile for a little while now, and while I reflect on the last year and some of the highlights of it, they come to mind.
The staff here are very warm, personable, attentive, and genuinely strive to do the best they can and give you what YOU want.
The office is new and very clean with cool amenities like complimentary beverages or a station in the restroom to freshen up if need be. They have Netflix or music that you can enjoy on headphones which they provide during the procedures.
I’ve had a cleaning done and dental bonding on all of my front top teeth back in the summer.
The hygienist, Sandra I believe her name is, was gentle as she could be and asked if I had any sensitivities she should watch out for which made things a lot more comfortable. She also counseled me on how to take care of my teeth and pointed out some things to look out for with my tooth type which made it feel personalized.
When it came to the aesthetics of my teeth and the work Dr. Haung did, I was extremely impressed and grateful for how she bettered my life. My front teeth were chipped, cracked, discolored, just all around super funky from years of mistreating them. I changed my lifestyle but my teeth didn’t match — Dr. Haung could sort of read my mind I think, and knew I needed a change. After finding out I work with people/​in customer service, she offered a practical solution for me, dental bonding.
I didn’t know what to expect but I was amazed at how beautiful my new smile looked. You can tell Dr. Haung has a deep knowledge and understanding of dentistry, teeth, and how they function as tools in our lives, both on an appearance and functionality level. Her skill of hand and eye are exceptional and it would be difficult for me to trust anyone else at this point. She restored my confidence and has helped paved the way for bigger and better job prospects. I can’t thank her enough for that.
The dental assistants are also very attentive and try to ensure you are comfortable. They seem to notice everything, even if the safety glasses are slipping into an uncomfortable position, they will slyly re-​adjust them.
My insurance covered most of it though I did have a bit out of pocket to pay, but that was made very reasonable through a payment plan that Brianne, the receptionist, worked out with me. She worked with me on when the best times to bill would be in accordance to my pay schedule at work, and offered courtesy calls before putting the charge through just in case. I really appreciated that.
I would highly recommend this dental office because I’ve never had this pleasant of an experience or care, and each time I go my day is brightened because the wonderful vibe of this staff will rub off on you. I can speak for the cosmetic side — if you’re looking for bonding or anything regarding the front of your mouth, without question Dr. Haung is absolutely terrific and will only improve your life more. I’d give them 10 stars if I could.

Can you believe that we traveled 30+ miles to Sunnyvale from San Ramon for our kids’ dental care for the past 5 years? Because the kids liked going back to their Sunnyvale dentists so much. Now our kids enjoy coming to have their dental care here, this is a nice, great place for dental care!

Dr. Huang and staff at Live & Smile Dental Care are fantastic! My family sees Dr. Huang for all of our dental work and orthodontics. They do a professional and excellent job every time! Sandra and Jade are so very friendly and they do a thorough job every time we have our cleanings and other dental work. And I must say that I appreciate Live & Smile being so accommodating with our dental appointments, if we ever needed to reschedule, they were always making sure the appointments work with my schedule — thanks to Jenny and Briana for being so great!
Also, my Invisilign Orthodontics treatment turned out to be much easier than I thought and now I have straighter teeth and brighter smile, thanks again to Dr. Huang and staff!

In the past, going to the dentist was literally one of the worst things I could think of. Sit down, fill out this paperwork, let me drill your teeth with this scary metal thing, and then quietly explain why you suck at dental care. But since coming to Live and Smile, I’ve definitely been treated like a valued customer, and the staff are all very personable and make you feel appreciated. Dr. Huang is exceptional and very knowledgeable about all of the procedures. The office is super nice, all the equipment is top of the line, she spares no expense and makes sure you are getting the best treatment with the best tools. And they give great goody bags at the end!
I’d watch out for Jenny and Briana though, they are definitely the trouble makers of the office.
