History

Established in 1972.

Morgan King has been in practice for over 40 years. His practice has covered many areas over the decades, but his main focus for the last 10 years has been helping delinquent taxpayers.

In addition to his practice, Mr. King writes books for tax and bankruptcy professionals, and frequently lectures and teaches the topic. He has written many articles addressing tax issues, and created video courses in bankruptcy law. His annual 2-​day course/​workshop on discharging taxes in bankruptcy is famous with the bankruptcy bar.

Business Owner

Morgan D. King graduated from the University of California at Berkeley in 1963 with a major in Political Science, and from U.C. School of Law at Davis, California, in 1971.

Upon being sworn in to the California Bar he joined his two brothers — also — attorneys, and the firm became King, King & King, and in more recent years, his own office in Dublin, California.

He has written, taught and published books on California Corporation Law, domestic relations law, bankruptcy law, and tax law. He was a regular lecturer at the annual convention of the National Association of Consumer Attorneys addressing tax discharge in bankruptcy, and in 2003 was recognized by NACBA with its Distinguished Service Award.

He has taught at Lincoln Law School in San Jose, CA, and paralegal law at St. Mary’s College, also in California.

He is married with two offspring (both in college). His interests include gardening, whale photography, horse-​back riding, and efforts to save open space from developers.
