Performance Autowerk was born of a simple desire to do European auto service, auto repair and performance modifications the right way, the way that BMW, Mercedes, Audi, Volkswagen and Land Rover engineers, race teams and enthusiasts would do the work at the track or on the assembly line! We help you maintain your vehicle to the same stringent standards that it left the factory with. We install only original equipment or performance modification parts with pedigree, parts that have stood the test of time and proven reliable and up to the task of keeping your vehicle on the road or track and trouble-​free. Our attention to detail is meticulous and we’re proud of it. We will return your vehicle, after repairs, appearing as it should: cable ties and clamps correctly oriented, leaks washed down, and free of fingerprints.

Over the years the local car clubs have provided friendship and a vast knowledge base. We are proud to support local BMW, Mercedes, Audi, Volkswagen and Land Rover owners groups. Provide us with evidence of your membership and we will discount 15% from the labor cost on all of your maintenance, repairs and modifications. We are a very short walk to the Dublin BART station. Most repairs can be performed in one business day, so drop off your vehicle, hop on BART and swing by on your way home to pick it up. Our team is very enthusiastic about what we do, and we look forwarding to meeting you at Performance Autowerk soon!

History

Established in 2014.

Established in 2014, Performance Autowerk was born as the result of 20 years in the European auto repair business and out of a desire to do BMW, Mercedes, Audi, Volkswagen and Land Rover /​Range Rover repair the right way by ASE certified Master Technicians.

The owner of Performance Autowerk is the former shop foreman for a prominent East Bay German auto repair business and has 2 decades of experience performing diagnostic, service, repair and track preparation on European and classic vehicles. With a year of great relationships in our neighborhood, we look forward to sharing our passion for German autos with you for many years to come!

Meet the Business Owner

Evan B.

Business Owner

Since age 16, Evan has worked on or around European vehicles. He has track prepared and campaigned several current and classic vehicles. For over 17 years he has worked with the BMWCCA, SCCA, NASA and several other organizations as a high performance driving instructor.

His qualifications include 20 years servicing and repairing European vehicles, including 5 years as the shop foreman for one of the largest German auto repair shops in the East Bay. He is a ASE certified Master Technician and holds EPA and MACS Air Conditioning certifications. He regularly attends seminars and specialized training for the lines that he specializes in.
