I come in on a «walk in» day. There’s one ahead of me. Lady walks in and says that she has three outside and want to know what the wait is. Barber says«you guys are next» and puts three people ahead of everyone waiting. They think we came in here because we have no plans today and want to hang out? This is my first and last time here. If you don’t have a lot to do and you want to watch tv, this place is for you. If you have stuff to do, go somewhere else.

Came here earlier today, first timer. Took good care of me right away. Fred did an excellent job. He took his time and told me what he was gonna do to help fix my line up. Definitely coming back here again.

I am new to the Dublin area and needed a barber for my teenage son. So I went online looking for a barber and based on the reviews it was between Teague’s and another neighboring shop. My son was in desperate need of a haircut so I took him to the other place & boy was I sorry. My son who had nice pointy side burns were chopped off. Last week I finally went to Teague’s and I could not be happier with the results! A guy named PJ cut my son’s hair. Friendly atmosphere. The only bad thing is they’re not opened on Monday’s.

One barber couldn’t blend my son’s hair. I asked for a simple comb over cut and it was so choppy. Embarrassing. He had to ask another person to fix it for him. Beware: the photos posted are from a barber that no longer works there.

I took my 6 year old son here. The guy who did his hair was rude and he laughed at him when he said it hurt. My son is shy and fro him to speak up and say it hurts is a big thing. It’s hard to find a good place to take him that know what they are doing. But I’m going to drive to Oakland before I ever take him there again.

Living in the Tri-valley, where does a Black man get a hair cut? Why at Teague’s of course! Mr. Teague and his crew service everyone one and the work done is professional! My son and I are regulars here and while the wait can be a little long(He’s a popular guy) the end result is worth the wait!

If you want to get buzzed, then this is the place, and you will love it. But they can’t do anything else other than a buzz cut. If you ask for a subtle touch up, they will give you a buzz. If you, like me, ask for just a trim up the ears, you will also get a complete buzz. They are decent, hard working folks, so I hate to give them low ratings, but bottom line is, any hair professional should be able to do more than just one style. They’ll have to expand their styling abilities if they want to seek more business. They really need to understand not everyone wants to look like Vin Diesel.

Just moved up north from LA. Needed to find a new local barber shop. Saw this place on Unilocal and gave it a shot. It didn’t disappoint. It’s a great barber shop for a fresh fade. This will be my regular spot from now on.

I’ve heard about and have seen nice cuts here but the business hours are inflexible and the long wait on Saturdays just doesnt work for me. Not going to «slip a little extra» to possibly move ahead in the line.

Best barbershop to get lined up in the far east bay. I’ve been coming back here to Jermaine for days and he’ll give you a super fade all day. Fred will line the ish out your hair too.

Nothing special here. The barbers are not friendly and are off-standish. I’ve been here several times in hopes that I would receive better service every time but it was always the same. They don’t listen to what you want and honestly they do a very generic job. However, Z has talent especially in comparison to his fellow barbers, In the end a $ 17.00 haircut is not worth it at this place.

Yesterday, a lodge brother told me he liked my fade and wanted to know who my barber was. That wasn’t the first time someone has commented on my haircut, it happens often as a matter of fact. Though it was the first time anyone has taken my recommendation and compared it with Unilocal(that I know of) right there, in front of me on the spot. He then looked up from his smart phone and said«there are negative comments about George Teagues personality.» Well I’ve been getting my hair cut by Mr. Teague for just over 20 years now and he’s always delivered a great cut at a fair price and if I go early enough during the week I might not have to wait in, too much of a, line. I’m impressed with his consistency, dependability and also the fact that he doesn’t have to be overly nice to every customer, every time, regardless of how they treat him or his place of business. He’s a great barber not a yes man. If you want a great fade go see Teague or one of the other barbers that are good enough to work out of his barber shop. Keeping it real, John D. Lane
