I’ve had my nails done by Rubie for the past 2 years. She does a beautiful job every time, and I leave happy every time. Thanks Rubie!

Cynthia is the best. I have been going to her for years for my nails and never considered spending money on my toes until I chatted with her about Laser surgery for my big toe nails. I decided to start having a pedicure with my manicure and WOW what a difference she made. So glad I didn’t waste my money on the Laser treatment. just love everything about the salon.

If you need a new nail lady go see Dee Dee! So nice to finally have a regular place to go every two weeks and I always know I’m going to get great service and awesome nails.

I never had to write a bad review, but I am so fired up I need to let others know. I am a busy working mom and I purchased a voucher with groupon. I have contacted Natalie numerous times and she didn’t even respond to my calls and texts. I finally told her if she is too busy for me, I can contact the groupon for a refund. She contacted me right away. I gave her specific times I can come and see her(evenings on week days and any time on weekends). We finally got a date and a time. I arranged a babysitter and went to her nail salon this morning. She looked at me and said, «I don’t have an appointment with you.» I showed her the texts and our confirmation. She says, «ooops. I am really busy.» She told me to wait 40 minutes or come back later that afternoon. She was rude and did not seem sincere. I will never go back to this place again.

This review is highly overdue, but I need to give credit to Natalie on a public forum. I called for an appt with a pretty weird request. I was going to London for the Olympics, and I wanted some seriously patriotic toes. I didn’t really have a design in mind, but I wanted someone who could use their own creativity to help me have some festive toes. Natalie ROCKED! She was easy to talk to and my rock star pedicure looked amazing. Plus, it is well over a month later and my toes still look great. You will not be disappointed. The only tip I would offer is that they don’t take cards, so bring cash. They were, however, really cool about me running out to an ATM to get cash and coming back even after my toes were done. :)

Bought a group on and tried for a month to get a hold of her. When I finally did it was too late. What a waste of money.

What a nice place! I go to Natalie and she does excellent work and is just pleasant to talk to. She gave me my first gel nail polish and its lasted beautifully for over 2 weeks! Pedicures are done with the highest sanitary standards. The salon is a bit of a drive from my house but worth every mile.

I’ve been going to the Nail and Skin Emporium for 15 years and Cynthia has been my nail tech the entire time. I mostly get pedicures with an occasional manicure. She is a perfectionist! Her knowledge, expertise and warmth are what keep me coming back year after year. I just saw her today for a pedicure and while I sit here on the couch admiring my sparkly, perfectly smooth heels and toes, I thought I would be sure to acknowledge her(finally) on Unilocal, especially before the busy summer season.

Although I usually go to Natalie for my nails, the ladies here are so warm and welcoming. They keep everything clean and make sure you feel right at place. It’s fun having girl talks with these ladies. And most of all, you get to see everyones creativity, rock star toes, gel manicures, tips, designs… you name it… this is the place to go for some nice fun girly time!

Via a Groupon, we checked out Natalie who started a month ago.(She worked at another place in Danville for several years but moved here because the hours were better and it is closer to her home.) She is ab adorable and warm! It is très refreshing to have someone cut your cuticles and file your nails without torturing you! The Nail Emporium salon is conveniently located off of Dublin Boulevard with plenty of parking. The salon’s ambiance is quite different from many of the nail joints in the area. Much more inviting. Natalie had some great color suggestions and my daughter enjoyed the sugar scrub pedicure. Prices are competitive and fair. It’s totally worth it. I will be back in a couple of weeks as she graciously offered the Groupon deal to me if I wanted to try her. It was really a NO-BRAINER!

I have been going here for about 4 years now and I can’t speak highly enuff about this place. DeeDee is who I normally see and she always does a great job. I enjoy the conversation, the location is easy to get in and out of and the salon itself is warm and inviting.

I absolutely love the Nail and Skin Emporium! I have been a client for 9 years and have had my nails done by all 3 nail technicians. This is not your regular nail shop or experience — guaranteed! Everything you can expect to see and hear when walking into a typical nail shop you will not see and hear in this one. The emporium: Very clean, comfortable, warm and cozy. The shop is divided within itself for services on the hands and feet. There is a separate room for pedicures which makes the experience more enjoyable by not having people stare at your feet, and/or at you getting a pedicure. You may have the company of one other client getting a pedicure, as there are two pedicure chairs in the pedi room, but thats it. Very relaxing, very enjoyable. The nail tech’s: Cynthia, DeeDee and Chris are the 3 nail tech’s. I have had my nails done by all 3 and they all do a fantastic job. They all enjoy their job and are a pleasure to have a conversation with while getting your nails done. I have been a regular client of DeeDee’s for about 8 years now. DeeDee is the queen of ‘pink and whites’ — whips them out like its nobody’s business and they look great! No matter who does my nails, they always look absolutely beautiful and they last until your ready for your next fill — still looking very nice after your 2 – 3 weeks.(no breaks, no lifts) They all use top quality products, tools and cleaning agents. The Esthetician’s: There are two Esthetician’s at the emporium, but I have only worked with one, Christina. Christina is very knowledgeable about skin care and uses two great lines of product: Dermalogica and Image.(I personally LOVE Image) Christina has given me facials, micro dermabrasions and has helped me select proper skin care products for my skin type. All very satisfying experiences! Christina also does waxing, and uses both hard and soft wax. If you get anything on your face waxed, and have never experienced hard wax — you HAVE to try it! It cuts the sting by at least 50%. Its great stuff. There is probably no politically correct way to say, the girls who work in the emporium are all as american as you can get, and speak english. Therefore, you build a true relationship with your nail tech and can have a satisfying experience. I’m sorry, but something has to be said about having a service done by someone who you can communicate effectively with. Overall The Nail and Skin Emporium is a fantastic place to go for a great nail or skin experience.
