After reading the first review I thought oh hell no! I can’t go there. So I called and they explained that the store is under new ownership and that was from the previous owner. NO DOGS GETTING LOOSE HERE.
I just picked up my pups (by pups I mean my 105lb and 75lb Golden Retrievers) from here. It was our first time using this groomer, we usually go to woof n suds in Grandview. The only reason I was looking here is that it is close to work and my parent’s house so I was able to drop them off during lunch. I didn’t want them there all day, even though they do watch a few dogs for doggie day care.
I went in last week to check them out and saw some pups hanging out and just enjoying the day. I thought what the heck, those dogs look happy. I filled out the proper paper work, got an est ($ 185.00, yes you read that correctly $ 185 to shave both dogs, they do give a multi-​dog discount.) and was instructed that I have to have the vet fax over their records to confirm that they are up-​to-​date on all of their shots and what not. I like this and don’t like this… Like– means they care about the other dogs and their safety. Don’t like– now I have to jump through one more hoop. After doing that they gave me a call the night before to remind me of my appointment.
Now this 185 I previously mentioned includes:
Haircut styled to your preference or breed-​standards (body, feet, legs, tail, ears, head and face)
Massage Bath (shampoo and conditioner)
Hand blow dry
Brush out
Ear cleaning/​plucking
Nail clipping with filing
Sanitary trim
Finishing touch (cologne, bows or bandanna, breath spritz)
I asked that neither dog have their nails trimmed, mainly bc my big boy is a big pansy and screams like someone it about to murder him with a rusty spoon, so me and the wife just do it at home. A nail clipping is 12.00 in the A La Carte menu on the website, so one would think there would be some sort of discount if the nails are NOT done. There wasn’t. Maybe in the future that might be something they consider.
Overall I will be taking them back! They did a wonderful job and were very friendly!

Best grooming around, bar none. Our dog always came back looking great. We even sent family members here based on our experiences. The owner loves dogs, that’s for sure.
Our worst fears were realized when our specific instructions to use our dog’s harness were not heeded. With a slip knot as her collar, our beautiful dog was taken out for a potty break and got away. YES GOT AWAY. A very matter of fact call that our dog was running the streets of Dublin caused panic for a good 2 hour period. Only thanks to the kindness of strangers did we get her back.
We used a gift certificate to pay for the grooming session where our dog got away. The owner promised to finish the job the next day. What was shocking to us was that she didn’t offer to give the money back or offer a free session next time. Even if she had said «it’s best that I not groom your dog anymore, here’s your money back» we would have walked away happily.
Instead we were left with a bad taste in our mouth for the poor customer service this small business showed to us. We have since found a fantastic groomer at the Hilliard Pet Palace who is phenomenal.
