We have over 12 years of experience in software engineering and web development in a variety of industries including: Higher Education, Insurance, Government (Defense), BioTech, Retail, and non-​profit. We work with each client on an individual basis to understand their business objectives and their customers so that we can then provide a holistic digital marketing strategy that includes web design/​web development, social media, mobile devices, and search engine optimization/​marketing.

History

Established in 2010.

Ryan started his professional career at Raytheon as a software engineer, designing and developing graphical user interfaces for large radar systems that met strict government standards in a CMMI level 5 organization. While at Raytheon, Ryan was honored to work alongside some of the best engineers in the country, honing his engineering skills and becoming a six sigma specialist while climbing the corporate ladder to become a Senior Engineer and mentor to new employees.

In 2005, Ryan began to focus on web marketing and web applications. Since then, he has worked as a senior developer/​designer and web marketing consultant for a handful of companies in varying industries, including: The Hanover Insurance Group, Harvard Bioscience, and Assumption College.

In 2010, Ryan started Massachusetts Web Designs in an effort to bring high end web marketing services to businesses in Massachusetts and Southern New England.

In 2011, Ryan began teaching as an Adjunct Professor of Computer Information

Ryan has been developing and designing websites for over ten years, and has worked as a senior developer, web marketing consultant, and technical lead for a number of corporations and institutions before starting Massachusetts Web Designs.

Earning a bachelors degree in Computer Science from Assumption College and a master’s degree in Visual Media Arts and New Media from Emerson College, Ryan brings with him a unique background in software engineering and visual media arts that sets him apart from most web designers and developers.
