American Signature Furniture

I’ve tried for the past week to order online. It continued to show error. I know what I wanted and just want them to deliver. Even the online chat is a waste of time. Basically, they did not make ordering online easy. I know I can just go to the store but there’s not one close.

The store is huge and they have a wide selection of furniture. We bought a living and bedroom set. They seem to be pretty good quality (although I’ll update if they quality seems to wear prematurely) and the price was much more affordable than other brand name retailers. Delivery was $ 129 I believe and the salesperson wouldn’t negotiate on that. I thought that was pretty abnormal considering we spent over $ 3K. The saleswoman was helpful but not genuine but I guess that’s a luxury. She’s there to sell a product. Kind of disappointed with that.
The delivery guys were nice and they brought everything in good order except the coffee table had a thumb sized scratch but since it’s an «sold as is» and I didn’t take pictures beforehand I didn’t bother fighting it. Otherwise everything else came in one piece. They set it up as well. The furniture came on time as well right when they said it would. We got everything 3 days after we purchased it.
Overall, it was a good experience.

Thanks for the previous reviews. No amount of money is worth receiving poor service. Won’t buy from them.

Horrible service! I was very interested looking to purchase a new set of sofas for my new home, as I look I distracted my view with the outside furniture, one of the lady’s said to me «hey that is sold» my reaction to her was «I can’t look at it», there is better way to say ITS SOLD! For example «hey guys you like this one, unfortunately is sold, but let me show you a set you might like», NOPE! That not even close to what I got! WORST SERVICE EVER! the furniture is beautiful but will not shop here!

It is now 3 months… the total order still hasn’t arrived. They changed the delivery date and never called again… 3 times! I usually called to follow up… and then find out the delivery date has been moved.

Ga is so scandalous and greedy almost every business you deal with. No one wants to do a good honest days work but every wants to get paid. They lag behind the nation in most of the important areas, seem not to have a clue, and could care less. At this rate they’ll never get it together and should be ashamed of themselves.

Worst experience I have ever had buying furniture. They were more than eager to sell it to me, but actually getting the furniture was a whole other situation. Delivered first time and 2 of the 3 pieces were stained, scratched, pulls in fabric. Refused loveseat and chair. Second delivery got a new loveseat and a chair that was not level and rocked. Refused the chair. Had them order a third chair that I offered to pick up, days later went on pick it up only to find the first chair that I had already refused, repackaged and presented to me as thought it was brand new. The chair apparently never came in or if they to was even ordered. Management team not helpful or apologetic in the least and the manager Rosie could not have cared less about my situation. She has made this whole process of buying furniture as fun as having a root canal. Still waiting on the chair. And seriously considering returning the whole set and shopping at Harvetys where they actually care about the customer.

This place has the most slow and low quality costumer service of all the furniture stores I’ve ever been to. Always slow on delivery and they always find problems when they are getting ready to unload the furnitures and ended up taking it back to their store then tell me they will deliver it another day! I took the time to stay home and wait for their delivery, then they show up tells me that they found a problem and I have to wait for them to set me up another delivery date. I am so tired of dealing with these guys, such a waste of time and money. I would give them zero star if Unilocal lets me. If u want good quality furniture and fast costumer service DO NOT BUY FROM THEM.

WASTING MY TIME TO DEAL WITH THESE GUYS! I bought my living room furnitures and three bedrooms furnitures at here. The service is horrible and slow! They never deliver good furnitures at the first time delivery! All the staffs they deliver at the first time are missing paintings or having scratches! I think their workers never check the furnitures when they load them up. And also when I find problems on my furnitures, the technician that they sent out does not know what he was doing! He came to my house twice and never fixed the problem. And for the third time, they sent a different technician who does not know what he is dealing with and have no tools with him. And I never get the replacement that they promised me! All they do is that keep sending their technicians! This is such a big waste of my time. Will never shop there again. IF YOU WANT TO BUY YOUR FURNITURES AND GET THEM ALL SETTLED IN YOUR HOUSE IN THE SAME YEAR, DO NOT BUY FROM THIS STORE!

Great selection of affordable furniture. Sales people are not pushy at all. Ms. Kim was our sales person and she was very knowledgable and tried her best to find the set to meet our needs. I could tell it was not about the sales for her. We did buy the furniture for our basement. Will update my review when we actually get our furniture.

I went into ASF today, shopping for a new mattress and a bed frame. The salesperson was way too pushy. She kept steering me around and didn’t want to give me the time to actually lie on a mattress for more than 30 seconds. Mattress shopping is a pretty big deal and should not be rushed. All the beds were way too close together too, not allowing enough space to get in and out of each bed without crawling in from the bottom of the bed.
All that said, she finally backed off when she got the hint that we wouldn’t be purchasing a mattress and left us to wander around looking at the bed frames. The furniture all seemed to be well constructed at a very decent price. I found a nice wood frame for about $ 300 that I’ll be returning to purchase this week.

The selection looks great when you’re in the store, but if you purchase anything, make sure it’s not from the «as-​is» section. I found an awesome sectional sofa at a great price that looked like there was nothing wrong with it apart from a tiny stain. When I asked the sales rep I was dealing with if that was the only issue, he said yes.
Unfortunately I believed him and didn’t flip the sofa over to check that all the springs were in place and firmly attached to the frame (they weren’t). Three months after making the purchase I’m having to pay for the sofa to be repaired, because as-​is merchandise isn’t covered under warranty (even if you pay for in-​home delivery, as the corporate website states).

Who knew furniture shopping would be such a pain?! Not I said Carolyn. I shop around, basically browsing online to get a feel for what I like. I stumble across American Signature. For the past few weekends I spent most of my Saturday in this store testing the chair comfort visualising my breakfast area…
This weekend I decide to make a decision. I bought the cutest table. the service I received was off the charts. She was able to answer all my questions but she gave me plenty of space to walk around the store without hovering over my shoulder.
Can’t wait until my new purchase arrives =)
