Description

Specialties

In contrast to other chiropractors, Dr. Park only adjusts a single bone, the Atlas bone, which is the first and most important bone in your entire spinal structure. As this bone is properly adjusted, the rest of the spinal structure follows suit. Every resource in our clinic has been tailored to provide only the best quality of adjustment and handling of the Atlas bone.

During Dr. Park’s career, he has prepared a unique treatment plan manual that efficiently gives the best Atlas treatment. Your visits are carefully designed to minimize downtime, such as waiting, and maximize time for visual inspections, critical progress point checks, and quality adjustments.

The C1 Spine Lab only uses the state of the art equipment in order to ensure the best Atlas adjustment. We are equipped with one of the best X-Ray systems and adjustment tables available for chiropractic use.

We want to make our patients’ lives pain-free by adjustment and handling of the Atlas bone.

History

Established in 2009.

Dr. Park has devoted himself to adjusting the Atlas bone since 2006. He has attended numerous continuing learning classes and seminars for upper cervical adjustment including NUCCA, Blair, Toggle Recoil, Knee Chest, Gonstead for upper cervical adjustment and the Atlas Orthogonal program.

He was an intern at the Sweat Institute with Dr. Roy Sweat, the founder of Atlas Orthogonal Chiropractic, for 1 year and became a Board Certified Atlas Orthogonist. Upon completion of his internship, Dr. Park continued to work with Dr. Sweat as a main staff doctor for an additional 3 years while seeing his own patients to enhance his skill set. When Dr. Park opened his own clinic, the C1 Spine Lab in Duluth in 2013, he had more than 7 years’ experience with the Atlas adjustment technique.

Dr. Park’s motto is «there is no shortcut to become a real professional in one field.»

Dr. Park is originally from South Korea, and earned his Bachelor’s degree from the University of Oklahoma. He attended the Palmer College of Chiropractic where he studied Atlas Orthogonal Chiropractic, among other techniques. He graduated as a Doctor of Chiropractic and has been practicing since 2009.

For him, providing an Atlas bone adjustment service is like performing a composite art. Being able to provide the best Atlas bone adjustment requires hard work and dedication. In other words, it requires Kaizen, which means Artisan’s Spirit.

Adjustment of the Atlas bone is done in a matter of a second and is painless. As such, Dr. Park puts all his knowledge, skill, and experience into this one second. Patients never lie on the adjustment table with the exact same posture. The muscle tone of the human body changes all the time and the Dr. Park calculates all the factors and reflects them in his one second adjustment.
