The hot donut light gets me every time. These are really good when they are hot. It is great that they are open before 5am.

I came in with a coupon for buy one dozen glazed and get a free dozen mixed free. I also ordered a frozen latte. When I presented the coupon the register would only give $ 1 off for the drink since it was«frozen Friday.» She called the manager over and he repeated the same thing, to which I asked couldn’t he override it. He very rudely snapped at me, if you will let me finish, I will void it out and put the drink on a separate ticket. I thanked him and then the proceeded to prepare the latte. He mixed things, cleaned counters, instructed other employees on things, rung up other people and finally I got my latte about 15 minutes later! Must have been 10 people in line when we were thru. He needs to go to the QT school of customer service… Never a smile while we were there from 7:17−7:42.

I ordered 36 dozen donuts for a corporate function to be picked up at 7:30 am in which I placed the order the day prior. I arrived at the location which seemed like pyre chaos only to be told my order was not ready. The manager yelled from across the room to provide me with an excuse as to why they were not ready. She started the order and I was on my way 45 minutes later, late for the corporate function, embarrassed and no word of an apology from the manager. We have various meetings frequently where we provide donuts for the employees but the embarrassing experience will cause us to rethink our choice and locations. I was hoping to hear from a Krispy Kreme representative but it’s going on 2 weeks and no response.

I love it here. The glazed donuts are sooo good. It’s hot and fresh. I love how there is good service even in busy days they are very respectful. For example National Donut day they were very busy had a long line but once I ordered my donuts they got it to me as fast as possible. I love this place and am glad of the location, service, and DONUTS!!!

Horrible service. It took 10 minutes for them to figure out how to sell 2 doughnuts and a drink. The two employees were arguing in front of us how to do their job. Extremely unprofessional and unacceptable.

Hands down the best doughnuts around. They are soft and melt in my mouth when fresh made. This place is tiny so most people take them to go. They have a few small tables with chairs if you want to sit. I tried their holiday snowman donut and wow that little piece of ball was gooooood!!!

Put down the donuts! Just kidding. Super clean. Friendly — -Eh? Glaze donuts are great but the other donuts are not that great. I usually try to get them hot and fresh. Overall it is a good place to go to, and they also have a drive thru. Prices are fair. Just go get a damn donut already. krispy kreme is known for their glaze donuts. Oh and the original glaze donut is 99 cents a piece. I bought a iced mocha and two glaze donuts and they were delish!

Like many of the other reviewers stated, the quality of the food is going to be the same as any other Krispy Kreme. I mean, they have a standard, right? Just wanted to put in my 2 cents and agree with the other reviewers. The hot sign is on, but beware! Hot sign being on doesn’t necessarily mean that they JUST made doughnuts! And that they are fresh… like I think it is supposed to mean. At this particular location, I think the HOTSIGN can better be translated into, «If you want some hot donuts, we can put some of the hot frosting on and give them to you on the spot. Our doughnuts are already made! Oh! But if there are 5 other customers in front of you, it might take 15 minutes…» Seriously, I waited for 15 minutes or so to get a dozen glazed donuts + 3 various. I was wondering what the hold-up was … it was the fact that they didn’t have any change for the previous customer. EVERYTHING was on hold. And the reason why I’m reviewing this after only one visit is because the quality of the food won’t be different, but the people and the service I felt was not anything that was going to change. Their attitudes were unapologetic and not motivated to be working at all. i must have had a very disappointed look because one of the ladies finally apologized for my wait. But after seeing these reviews, I can see that much hasn’t changed. And… I didn’t read these reviews until a few minutes ago!(not prior to visiting since I knew the quality of the food would be legit). Just know that you may not have the most pleasant experience with the workers and it may take … 15 minutes to get some hot donuts! You’ve been forewarned… =)

I didn’t know what a good doughnut was supposed to taste like until I tried my first Krispy Kreme Original Glazed doughnut when I moved to the States almost a decade ago. In my hometown(Guam), the only doughnut shops we had when I was growing up was Winchell’s and Dunkin’ Donuts, and I didn’t think theirs were all that great. I’m still not a huge fan of doughnuts in general and rarely buy them myself, but it’s always a treat when someone else buys a box of them! =) This Krispy Kreme on Pleasant Hill is currently the closest one to my house. However, it still isn’t super convenient to come to this one since it’s not on the way home, so I’ve only been here twice. The first time I came, I got a dozen of the Original Glazed doughnuts to share with the family. Their«Hot» light outside was on, and I was in and out of the store fairly quickly. As expected, the doughnuts were delicious. My most recent visit was on National Coffee Day(a Saturday this year!) when participating Krispy Kreme stores throughout the U.S. were offering free 12 oz. cups of their coffee with no purchase necessary. I walked into the store around 8 am, and all I wanted was a cup of coffee. Since it was on my way to work and there were no other customers inside, I thought I would be in and out of the store quickly. I was impressed at how spotless it was inside! It was the cleanest I had ever seen it, probably because they wanted their store to look its best in anticipation of a busy day. However, I was NOT impressed with the service. After ordering the cup of coffee, I stood around and waited for about ten minutes in silence. Were they really making a fresh pot of coffee at that very moment? The cashier didn’t even apologize for the delay. She didn’t smile or care that I was there, either. That was really uncool. Krispy Kreme’s coffee was just«meh.» I usually add some Splenda and creamer to my coffee, but I didn’t like the half and half they had at their coffee station. It was way too milky tasting and made my coffee taste gross. I wish they offered flavored creamers, but maybe that’s asking for too much from a doughnut shop. Overall, this Krispy Kreme doughnut shop gets 3 stars for their good doughnuts and clean store environment. I had to subtract 2 stars because their employees really need to work on their customer service skills. If you know that you’re going to make your customers wait for something, let them know! I will probably return to this Krispy Kreme sometime for their doughnuts, but definitely not anytime soon and not for the coffee. [Review 279 of 366]

This is the best Krispy Kreme around!!! The HOTLIGHT stays on… guaranteed to get a hot doughnut. All of the shops should follow this procedure. The nitch is a hot doughnut, so all should have hot ones, ALLTHETIME. I love this location. The owner should train all other Krispy kremes the way they do business. YUMMY!

I came here today because the hot doughnut sign was on and I thought my family would enjoy some fresh doughnuts. we normally don’t just eat here, but it was going to be a sweet treat. Anyway, I decided to get some doughnuts and a cup of water. I didn’t get any hot doughnuts. They weren’t even fresh. They could’ve at least put them in the microwave and trick someone. The water was from the unfiltered tap, but when I looked in the cup, it was absolutely disgusting. Definitely the last time I will be wasting my time in that space.

Just like a previous reviewer stated, they don’t make the doughnuts here with the exception of glazing them. The quality and taste of the doughnuts is equally as delicious as any other location in town. While I should probably give this place a 5 star for the doughnuts, workers here really bothers me. More specifically, the manager herself. The women is purely nasty to her employees and certainly doesn’t know how to even crack a smile. I’ve seen her rudeness made a little boy cry.

Who does not love Krispy Kreme??? I like this location. They are always friendly and tell you about any specials they are running. It is clean. They can be a little slow in the drive thru at times, even when no one is in front of you.

Talk about abysmal attitude… I have a video of my best friend mocking the young lady behind the counter with her scripted«WOULDYOULIKETOTRYONEOFOURSMOOTHIES?! HOWABOUTOURBANANACREAM!?!» It’s a donut, not much you can say about it. But I have noticed over the past few months that KK’s donuts are becoming more and more«airy» and weigh almost nothing now. I prefer a more dense cake, so I may try Dunkin here soon since we didn’t have them back in Memphis…

When it comes to doughnuts — Krispy Kreme is where you should get it! I found this place by accident, while driving looking for the new Assi Super Market. I thought KK only exists in small rural corners of the great USA, but I stand corrected. Cuz there’s a few in ATL, to my surprise! Soft buttery, fluffy dough, glazed with sweet icy glaze. Not too heavy, not to light — just enough to make every bite oooohhh so heavenly… I can’t speak for other people’s experience at this particular location, but when I got mine, it was THAT good… =)

I went awhile ago after an event in Gwinnett and was really disappointed. The hot sign was on, so I was eagerly anticipating that hot, squishy, fried treat, but what I got wasn’t at all like that. I might as well have gone and bought one at Quiktrip, as stale as it was. Apparently they don’t make the donuts there anymore, they make them somewhere else, probably the Ponce store, and then deliver them to Pleasant Hill where they only have the glazing machine set up. So then they run the old donuts through the glaze and turn the Hot sign on as if running them through the glaze suddenly converted them into fresh fried donuts. This is really sad and explains why Krispy Kreme is in the trouble they are in if they feel ok duping the public this way.
