You can find Naan ‘N Curry at 3083 Breckinridge Blvd, Duluth, GA30096 near(behind?) Gwinnett Place Mall at the corner of Breckinridge Blvd and Old Norcross Rd. There are several restaurants in this small strip mall — Naan ‘N Curry occupies one end. Parking is int he lot out front and there appears to be a lot of activity so you may have to walk a bit. I finally had a chance to try Naan ‘N Curry for a late lunch one Saturday afternoon — this was upon recommendation of one of my Indian friends — I was in the area and decided to try the buffet. Naan ‘N Curry is a Pakistani-style restaurant and as such the flavors are much more in the style of west India — spicy but also a bit more«soupy» in consistency. There were two tables occupied and a couple of more visitors came in while I was seated — also a few take-out orders were either made-up by people at the buffet or picked up, presumably from a call. When you walk in you’ll see a plain and clean dining room with a counter that extends from the back wall — above are some menu options and a guy manning the register. If you order food from the menu I believe it’s delivered through a small window behind the counter — at least that’s where much of the take-out was being passed to the guy in front. The buffet is to the left with a couple of hot-line tables and a cold-line table for pickles, sauces and the like. One pan had a few naan wedges with the others mostly containing soupy meat dishes. The smell of curry was quite pleasant. Piles of styrofoam plates, bowls and cups were nearby as well as plastic utensils. This latter reminded me quite a bit of eating in the mall food courts in India — actually the inside of the place also felt similar to those experiences to me. I gathered up a few items for a plate and asked for some fresh bread, as the few wedges in the hotel pan were fairly hammered. After a few minutes someone dumped a pan back into the pan so I left my table to get some and was surprised as it didn’t seem to be fresh bread — more like they had extra made up for the lunch rush and decided to use it up. First time I’ve seen that. While scooping up a few items it was apparent that quite a bit of ghee or some other oil was very prevalent in the food — lots of fat floating on top of all the pans. Now to digress a bit, I’ve tried about a dozen Pakistani style restaurants and there seems to be a common theme — perhaps it’s just something inherent in this style of cooking but the extra oiliness is definitely a turn-off for me. Maybe I’m a bit too American? It just turns into grease in my mouth and belly and gives me a stomach ache. I was careful to get the«cleanest» portions as possible but by doing so I ended up missing out on much of the gravy which is where much of the flavor is contained. The only Pakastani restaurant where I’ve eaten that I really enjoyed was Kabab Hut in Lilburn(probably due to the all-BBQ plate I ordered) and Zyka in Decatur(but this latter was much closer to what you would find in an Indian restaurant to me). I hate to generalize like this but there it is. So the plate of food I built — I ate it but did not go for seconds. The meats, as I said were a bit under-spiced since I passed on the oily gravy and the one mixed veggie dish was a bit marginal to me in flavor — even the korma seemed light on the spice and the daal a bit light on cumin. OK so maybe I’m a bit picky — I’m sure others will find the food just fine. On this day, with what was offered on the buffet I started getting a stomach ache when I left the restaurant. To me it makes it below average but I’ll round up to 3⁄5 stars. The service here is pretty much non-existent since you tell the guy at the counter and with the buffet it’s self-serve, so I can’t comment too much on this. I did feel like the guy didn’t like me taking photos(I’ve experienced this before and had someone tell me photos weren’t allowed — this was at Ashiana in Global Mall) so I tried not to be too obvious or obnoxious about it. I’ve never dined in but every time I call in an order the associate is always cordial and they’re very punctual with their pick up times. I always get the chicken tikka masala, garlic naan, and rice. With the portions they give, it’s enough food for my bf and I to share with rice leftover. Delicious meal for 2 with great service for less than $ 15. Great deal!

Seriously the best paneer tikka masala I have ever had. I am addicted! They are always so busy(for good reason), but the staff still manages to always be great and fast. Will always be my favorite comfort food spot.

Very casual Indian buffet at a reasonable price, great for a lunch break meal. The aloo curry, daal, chicken jalafrezi, and chana masala are the stand-outs for me. Though not available on the buffet, the bullet naan is tasty way to spice up your meal. I’m knocking it a star for inconsistent quality(sometimes the entrees are really greasy, sometimes they taste kind of flat) and not always having naan available on the buffet.

I ate worst dinner in my life at Naan and Curry I wasted my money and time. The food used to be very tasty but not anymore. To we ordered three dishes 90% of food we put in garbage I think is new ownership. I will never go there again.

Today’s experience was impromptu but well worth it. We walked in right after the buffet was over but were fine with ordering from the regular menu. There were quiet a few vegetarian options and I asked if they could be made vegan. The hostess I don’t think understood what I was asking but she said they were already vegan although I saw a few had cheese or yogurt. I ordered the vegetable biryani, garlic naan, and the vegetable samosas. Everything was good, but the naan takes the cake. I absolutely loved it and ate most of it in one sitting. The samosas were good too. The biryani was ok, spicy, but I think I’d try something different next time. Even though I ordered to go it was a lot of food especially for the price. I can’t say for sure but I think I tasted butter The restaurant was very clean and knew I could expect something good

Just tried Naan and Curry for the first time. Ordered to go. female answered the phone. Was very short and rude. Asked what I wanted then asked my name and hung up without saying goodbye… your total is… Will be ready by.etc. So I just drove up there. Walked in and she didn’t greet me. I stood there awhile till owner came up and asked to help me then gave me my order. I ordered the garlic naan white rice and chicken tikka masala. The naan was huge but just OK in taste. The white rice Delicious. The chicken was tasty but i was disappointed B/C there was more sauce then chicken. I kept stirring trying to find chicken and only got about 6 pieces. Now I have a container of the sauce and no more chicken to eat it with. Saving the sauce and going to sautee a chicken breast to eat it with since I still have a lot of rice left also. food was very good but not sure if I will be back. Going to try other places in area to compare.

Tasty. I’m a frequent customer. I just wish they have the fish during the weekend. Plus changing the menu a little bit. Please add Jamun on the selections. Ok. I am drooling now :)

This is probably the worst indo/paki restaurant I’ve been to in Atlanta. There are way better places in Atlanta Food was not great very oily and the service was terrible. Not to mention I had food poisoning after.

Have only gone for the lunch buffet but the price was super cheap and the food was yum! Chicken was tender, and the naan was really nice. The place isn’t the greatest looking inside but that never deters me. The people that work here are really nice and let me know what certain things were in the buffet. I ate all of it and had no issues with any of it! Really good Will be back as soon as I lose momentum from my NY resolution!

Definitely one of the better curry stops in the area. I went there on few occasions during the night and the lunch buffet. The selection during lunch wasn’t the greatest, there’s 6 or so different kind of curries without a lot of meat in the stew. We see only one kind of beef and couple of chicken curries available, there wasn’t even lamb. There are a couple of veggie curries though if you are into that. I have to dock a star because of the subpar buffet experience. The naan however was something to kill for. Yes, even during buffet, especially when it’s straight out of the oven, yum! Now in my opinion, the meat(pardon the pun) of this restaurant is its single order curries. There are a good amount of selections for each kind of meat. Chicken Tikka is extremely flavorful and the beef is amazing, super soft and tender, one of the best I have ever had. Did I mention it’s super cheap, especially on some weekdays where it’s $ 4.99 a pop. tl;dr: single order curries + naan, you simply can’t go wrong.

First thing’s first, I’ve never had Indian food. So when my friends roll up to pick me up and their response of «Indian» to my question of «What’s for lunch today,» sure surprised me. I’ve always thought that my taste buds were too sensitive and bland for the extremely flavorful cuisine of Indian, but«don’t knock it til you try it» was my mentality going into this little restaurant. We were disappointed to see that there was no buffet on the one day of the week that we went, but never the less we ordered a feast for ourselves. I’m not going to pretend like I know what we ordered, but everything was pretty freaking good. Chicken tikki masala, and wrapped and dipped around it was their crispy garlic naan. So perfect. Even though I can barely handle the spiciness of hot Cheetos, these were not overly spicy, and all the food meshed together as I shoveled them all into my mouth with my hands. We had a feast, though to be honest I can’t remember the names of the other dishes we got besides biryani? which was a rice dish piled high on one of their styrofoam plates, which was the norm of this restaurant. The service was meh. The guy took our orders and brought them to our tables. Everything is more or less self done: get your own water from the corner, the to-go boxes above the drinks, etc. An added bonus was that this place was halal, my Muslim friend was able to eat everything(which was great cause he ordered for us). All in all, it was a successful first taste of Indian food, but I can understand how a new comer, without a friend who is well acquainted with the menu/restaurant, would be confused about how things ran at Naan ‘N Curry. I would go there again, but definitely not alone since I had no clue what I was eating except that it was quite tasty.

I finally got a chance to try Naan ‘N Curry. Even though I live in Gwinnett County, I don’t work there and I wanted to try their lunch buffet. I love Indian restaurants for having the buffet options to try their food too! Naan ‘N Curry is located on the intersection of Breckinridge & Old Norcross behind Gwinnett Place Mall. My Desi friends call it the«Brown» plaza since there are a few other«brown» shops too like Chinese Dhaba(I’ve only been to the Global Mall location), Ruby’s Beauty Center(also only been to the Global Mall location), and Asma’s Cuisine(I’m curious to try next time). Naan ‘N Curry also serves halal meat! Great news for those who only eats halal. Plus the buffet is only $ 7.99 during the weekdays. Walking in, I was a little surprised how casual the environment is. I wasn’t greeted at all. I stood there for a few minutes and then asked how does this work? Do I sit myself? Do I go straight to buffet? A guy name Sunny(I heard others call him that), was standing by the buffet says for me to just get food and pick any table I want. So this place is also Styrofoam city. Many other Desi places are Styrofoam friendly. There were not as many choices to choose from compared to many other Desi restaurants I’ve been to. However, don’t let that stop you. I’m glad I was able to try everything. I honestly did not pay attention to the names of the dishes I got because the line for the buffet was long and I just wanted to get what I did like to eat. Naan was also on the buffet and was the first item to be out quick! The flavors were on point and food was really good. The price is really good for what you pay for. I just kinda wish there were desserts. Either kheer or mango pudding. Water is also self-serve and really cold. It was next to the buffet with Styrofoam cups on top as well. Overall, definitely worth going. No, it does not top my #1 favorite Desi restaurant.

I usually don’t write review as being chef my self I like to eat at places where you get not good but great quality food. Me and my family are coming to naan and curry since they have opened. I have never been disappointed by the food quality. Very consistence food and very reasonable price. If you are in the mood for a great Indian /Pakistani food this is the place to be in. Great service great food what else you want…

This place has pretty good, authentic Pakistani food. It is located in same plaza as Chinese Dhaba, Bethak Event Hall, and Moroccan Grill. I have tried their goat biryani, chicken karahi, chicken kurma, and chicken 65. Goat biryani is excellent. Unlike other desi places, this biryani has lot of meat. Chicken karahi is yummy– sauce is thick and flavorful. I am not fan of the chicken kurma– it tastes weird. Chicken 65 is yummy and fresh off the stove. Overall great food. This place is only for those that like spicy food! Everything is spicy. Atmosphere is clean. Plenty of seatings and parkings.

Much better since they redecorated their interior but they have progress yet to be made. The back area of the restaurant is deeply lacking in seating and decent trash bins. Food is delicious. Many types of traditional Pakistani and Indian cuisine and curry here. The rice is great. The fried bread pastry is hit or miss but if it’s a fresh batch it’s a huge plus with yummy Bariyani. Will return for Sunday brunch soon. Highly recommend to those who are not afraid of strong curry flavors and open to other cultural food. You will not be disappointed by the flavor found here.

We dropped in at Naan ‘N Curry before hitting up the $ 3 movies nearby. The restaurant is in a small strip mall at the corner of Breckenridge and Satellite Blvd with several other restaurants. Upon entering, you’ll see the buffet area in an alcove off to the left(the buffet wasn’t available when we went on a Sunday evening). Directly ahead is the counter where you place orders with a large photo menu on the wall behind, and a window opening into the kitchen where dishes are passed through. There’s also a small printed menu on the countertop that has a few more dishes that aren’t on the wall of photos, but we’d already decided before I noticed it. The open space off to the right has casual seating. The«ambiance» is really casual, more like a low-end food court than a restaurant, but what the place lacks in décor it makes up in deliciousness. Between us, my friend and I ordered chicken jalfurazi, palak paneer, rice, and garlic naan. The entrees don’t come with rice, so you need to order that separately, but bear in mind that one order will easily feed two voracious rice lovers or three moderate rice enthusiasts. The rice isn’t plain; instead, it’s studded with cardamom, cloves, and cumin seeds(and I’m pretty sure laced with a bit of ghee) that add an extra layer of flavor to your meal. The garlic naan comes in one large piece about the size of a large dinner plate. It was the perfect balance of crisp and chewy, and I’m pretty sure I could have eaten all of it by myself but likely would have been filled with regret. Our entrees were also delicious and generously portioned. The jalfurazi comes in a fairly mild tomato-based sauce with peppers and veggies. The chicken was exceptionally tender and flavorful. The palak paneer was also delicious, a little more spicy than I’m used to, but really well seasoned and not overly pureed. The amount of chicken and paneer in both dishes was just about perfect. The two of us agreed that we probably could have split one entrée between us and left satisfied, but really we each wanted about 2⁄3 of an entrée. I ended up taking some of mine to go(they have take out boxes stacked on the beverage cooler for easy leftovers), but I added some veggies before taking it to work for lunch the next day to make a full meal. Because we were dining in, they left our tab open to pay at the end when we were through with the meal, in case we wanted to add anything onto our order. We almost walked out and forgot to pay, we were so deliriously full and content at the end of our meal! The total for two entrees, two rice, one naan, and two drinks was about $ 25, which I found to be quite reasonable. While paying, we chatted with the two gentlemen at the front counter who were incredibly gracious and friendly. They asked many questions about how we enjoyed our food and our experience and offered us sugared fennel seeds as a breath freshener before we left. They were so effusively hospitable that, even if the meal had just been mediocre, I still would have wanted to go back again. Overall, excellent experience. It’s not quite as good as my Decatur fave, Bhojanic, but I was very pleased with the meal and the service and will definitely return to try that Sunday«brunch» buffet!

N & C is my go to takeout option when craving Indian and they offer an affordable weekday buffet for $ 6.99. We arrived at 1:15 pm for lunch and were one of five occupied tables. We chose from a dozen items including beef queema, egg curry, chicken qorma, chicken tikka(leg and thigh), kadi pakoda, mixed vegetable, chicken jalfurazi, cabbage curry, etc. Faves = kadi pakoda, beef queema. The chicken tikka was a bit dry. Given the fairly empty restaurant, the buffet was kept fairly well-stocked with just a short wait for fresh naan. I was bummed to not see chicken tikka masala, palak paneer or any okra on the line, but perhaps the weekend service offers more options. For now, I give the buffet 3 stars and takeout 4 stars since the food is cooked to order. Happy to return at a busier time to check out the fare!

The food here is simply delicious! It is a very casual restaurant. You place your order at the counter, find a seat, and wait for your food to be brought to you. This is the type of place that people usually order and take to-go. The staff are super friendly as well. I’ve been meaning to go when they have the buffet. I believe there is a lunch buffet on weekdays, except Monday(they’re closed). I’ve had the samosas, chicken masala, palak paneer, and the garlic naan bread. Everything is delicious, but my favorite is their chicken masala. The samosas are HUGE, so be mindful of that when you place your order for them. The portion size of entrees are favorable. We always come here when we’re craving Indian food.
