History

Established in 1998.

Pet Fixer Mobile Veterinary Service started by making a simple house call to a sweet lady living in a retirement home needing help for her cat. Straight out of veterinary school, I wanted to give back to the community, so I started out working at the Atlanta Humane Society. There I met Helen, her cat, Charlie was sick, no pets were allowed in taxi’s, so she smuggled him in her purse anyway. This was her only way to get him the help he needed. If you know anything about cats, you can imagine how stressful this was for both of them. After cleaning Helen’s purse out, I treated Charlie and told her to call me next time she needed help and I would come to her. She called me all the time, mostly to see Charlie, but sometimes just to see me. I am grateful to her for birthing my passion and allowing me to reach out to those in need.

What started out as a house call with bag in tow is now a 26 foot veterinary hospital on wheels.
