First off kakua s. I don’t appreciate your fake review, and in fact it makes me want to change this to one star, but I am going to give it the 2 stars I would have before I saw fake review-age. So Yogoday has a LOT of potential(minus it’s location ugh took me like 25min to get here!) it had a very nice inside(one half of it… the other half was a mess, I think they’re doing construction?) They also could do a lot better with toppings– actual fresh fruit would be nice, and granola… who doesn’t have granola?! Anyway I got a small regular yogurt with strawberries– it was HUGE, the flavor was okay, wasn’t the best I’ve ever had. See pictures.

It seems that Metro Atlanta has been coming up with a host of Pinkberry wannabes. This is another one, minus fancy contemporary décor. The yogurt is pretty good and I actually had it before I tried Pinkberry out in California. Yogoday is one of the better of the Atlanta Pinkberry clones, but it doesn’t stack up. They are often out of toppings, and I’ve had a few encounters where I’ve found the staff to be less than accommodating and not so bright. I’ve seen them turn away business because their credit card machine broke. Because of this, the patron offered to pay cash. The yogurt machine was working, so there shouldn’t have been a problem. General idea of observed scenario: Girl: I’d like a medium yogurt with mochi please Staff girl: Sorry, our credit card machine just stopped working. Can you come back in an hour? Girl: Does your yogurt machine work? Staff girl: Yes, but our credit card machine doesn’t work Girl: Well, I’ll pay you cash… Staff girl: Sorry, I can’t do that… the computer is broken Girl: So the computer is hooked up to the yogurt machine? Staff girl: No… but I can’t do that… please come back in an hour… it might be working then. It’s a true situation that seems both ridiculous and humorous, I know. I almost expected the people from the TV show, Boiling Point, to pop out and yell, «surprise!», but they didn’t. I’d be shocked if that customer ever came back. They certainly don’t know how to do business and it is evident that they don’t care about service. The décor is a bit strange also. It has fake fruit everywhere, which really sucks when you see the fake strawberries and there are no real ones in stock. The interior has a fake leg of the Eiffel Tower and Eiffel Tower wallpaper. I’m not sure where that comes from. I thought it was a Korean place? Hmm…

I scream… you scream… we all scream for… YOGURT!!! Ok so maybe that’s not exactly how that chant goes, but who doesn’t like a little variety in their routine!!! Well that’s how it was for me when I decided to meet up with a friend at Yogoday this past weekend. My friend and I wanted to meet up at a spot that allowed us to catch up mid-day, and were thinking about trying a coffee shop in Brookhaven that I absolutely adore, but then of course I hopped on Unilocal to see if their was anything different we could try and came across Yogoday!!! It sounded great, got coffee, smoothies, fruit juices, and frozen yogurt with toppings… what could be better right??? So the spot is a little off the beaten path, as it’s in a shopping center which is off the main road, so it’s easy to miss when driving by. However, when you get there it’s actually a cute little place to catch up with friends or to get your«fix» mid-day. They have couches and tables where you can sit, and even have a patio area to enjoy the beautiful weather. The only downside I have, is that the staff wasn’t very knowledgeable about the items on the menu, that may be because they’ve only been open for a few months, or maybe the girl was new, who knows… she was confused as ever though when we were trying to order. Finally however, we both settled on smoothies which were delicious!!! I had a strawberries and crème one, while my friend had a mixed berry and banana one. The prices were pretty decent as well, not more than you would expect at Starbucks or anywhere similar. As for the yogurt, even though I didn’t have it, she gave me a «sample» and it’s definitely not your typical frozen yogurt which tastes kinda sweet like ice cream, it literally tasted tangy/sour like the plain yogurt you can buy at the grocery store. I didn’t particularly like it. Anyways, all in all, it’s a cute spot, and worth trying out if you’re in the area!!! The four stars come from the atmosphere and the smoothie… I’m sure everything else will fall in place the longer they’re open!!! :)

Yet another frozen yogurt place has opened in the Duluth area. This one reminded me of Starbucks when I walked in. They have a lot of space to sit inside and outside. The inside of this café sort of has a trendy, yet comfortable, atmosphere. There are a few couches inside. They advertise themselves as having free wireless internet. There are also desktop computer stations inside the café. I’m not sure if they’re for customer usage, or for gaming? Their«Italian frozen yogurt» menu is similar to Juicy Green, Yogurbelle, Tous les Jours in the area. They also have two flavors: original and green tea, served with fruit toppings. The original flavored frozen yogurt is a little more tart than the other stores… but quite refreshing. Green tea flavor wasn’t available. I was told that they may have it in two weeks… so I can’t comment on that. A small size original is $ 2.75, green tea is $ 3.50. One fruit topping starts at 95 cents, if I can remember it correctly. They also have yogurt smoothies, some pastries/cakes, and a pretty extensive coffee menu(this part reminded me of Starbucks).
