History

Established in 2014.

Birdsong Studio Lessons (BSL) established a year after I graduated with a music therapy degree from Texas Woman’s University in Denton, TX. BSL provides high-​quality music education while inter grating cross-​curriculum. I developed many playing techniques in percussion, guitar, autoharp, piano, and voice.

My business is built on teaching with rhythm-​based instruction on various hands-​on manipulatives. With my educational background in music and generations of educators in the family, BSL enlightens all students from 18 mos and up! (Private instruction for 11 years and up!)

Due to a series of events, BSL will reopen near Duncanville, Desoto, Grand Prairie, and Cedar Hill in April 2016! Be on the look out for FREE PRIZES!

I’m Andra! My primary instrument is percussion and I LOVE music. If I could be fluent in any language, it would be sign language. I know some and incorporate it in the curriculum.
