I wouldn’t have gone if not for a recommendation. I had the beef fajita tacos, to-go at midnight and without anything but light hunger coloring my perception, found them to be really dang good. As good as Fuel City but less expensive and right in my own backyard. The red and green salsas were pretty good too. The real deal.

This place has great tacos and great salsa. The salsa made my husband’s sweat, which is his standard for measuring good salsa! In an area of the metroplex that is seriously lacking in interesting food choices, this place is a bright spot. We’ll definitely be back.

Been to this place several times since it opened and the burritos are awesome. But today 12−4−15 I was done with this place. I walk in and a lady coughed on the food as the other worker prepared a taco. The young lady at the register told me to wait 5 minutes because she needed to do something personal. Yes she said that in those exact words. An older lady was cooking the beef had some type of red bumps all over her mouth which to me is a health hazard. While another employee was bickering for silence because she was taking a large order over the phone. The other young girl preparing the food had a shirt with all types of grease and food stains on it. This place needs to be cleaned up from the floors to the employees. Which half of them seemed like unprepared high school kids. This taco place has gone to crap since I last ate at this place. I wouldn’t even want to sit in this place. I have no idea why it has gone down hill. Please do not eat here! It is a health risk!

Probably won’t be back. After 13 check ins and countless other visits before I started checking in I received the worst service ever. Needless to say they do not listen to you when you are ordering, they never smile and say thank you or anything like that. I put up with it for a while because I liked the tacos but today was the last straw. Customer service is key! I can’t accept sub par food but I will not accept sub par service, especially when I’m paying for it.

I can’t believe I have take so long to review my favorite taco stand. Today I ordered so my husband could pick the food up on his way home from physical therapy. The reason I mention this Is because every time he picks up food there for us, they go out of their way to take really good care of him as he is dependent on forearm crutches. So I’d like to give a Shout Out to Mr. Cruz for going far above his job requirements to make things just a little easier for my husband! If you like fuel city on Riverfront in Dallas, then here ya go, same owners. Oh and 1 more thing, I don’t know why, but if you like Elotes, they have the Creamy, cheesy, spicy kernel corn, but on the down side, you have to pay separately, and you need to have cash, super hassle, but I try to have cash, even though we are basically a cashless society. Sure wish they would invest in a Square or whatever they

When I first got wind of this place I was very happy that one was going to be so close to me. The Fuel City location is not that far but who doesn’t mind being si close to home? Well I must admit the food has not been so good lately and that should not be especially when you don’t come for a while. I love the cheap prices and the grilled onions, clanitro, they put on the side. But I have noticed I have had to ask for these sides that comes with your taco order. Ummm… I will be weighing this one out to see how it ends. If not so good I always have Fuel City Tacos to fall back on.

Anytime I’m in Texas, I make my way to city view, the tacos never disappoint and the taco combo platter with rice and beans hits the spot, especially for this New Yorker right here!

Forget Fuel City, these are best authentic street tacos in Dallas/Ft.Worth. Everything sold here is full of flavor. To top things off, they are open 24⁄7.

Small spot with a few tables inside. I didn’t like flys bothering me while I tried to eat delicious tacos lol. The beef fajitas were great, but the chicken fajitas needed some flavor. I’d go back.

This place makes me so happy. I can be having a bad day and the 3 taco combo plate from here will make my day. The onions are to die for. The grilled jalapeño is to die for. I am a loyal customer. The dining area is not all that clean but that’s ok because it’s like eating street food. Now, the service could be better. It seems like they hire incompetent people. I have to repeat my order numerous times before the people taking it understand. I’ve even been shorted on change but I just let them keep the extra cents. And the people taking my order are English speaking so a language barrier is not the issue. Although, this is a consistent problem, I keep coming back. It’s just so convenient and open 24⁄7.

My wife and I decided to give City View Tacos a try last night, and overall it was a nice experience. My wife had the chicken quesadilla, and I had the pastor and picadillo tacos. My wife loved the quesadilla. She ordered a side of pico de gallo, and although it was extremely hot(even for pico de gallo) the flavor was excellent. My tacos were also excellent. I would warn that their sauces are not for the faint of heart. They’re great, but they’re really spicy. I like really spicy, if you don’t then you might want to leave them in the little plastic cups they come in. The only real problem I had were the number of things that were extra price add ons. You want cheese on your tacos? Add a quarter. Want tomato? That’s another quarter. The tacos themselves are $ 1.62 each, so it doesn’t take much for the extras to start to cost as much as the tacos themselves. The pico de gallo isn’t considered an add on, it’s a side order, costing as much as the rice or beans. One thing I would also add, if you’ve got a website with a menu, don’t post a menu with all the prices blanked out, that has a message saying that the prices aren’t good after January, and to look for a new menu to be posted soon. If you’re going to mark out the prices and rescan the menu, you could just write in the new prices and rescan it. You could also actually say on the menu what you were charging for the add ons. With all of this, you might be wondering why they still got four stars. The reason is simple, the food really was very good, the service was pleasant and prompt, and it managed(barely) to outweigh these considerations. I’ll be back.

This is one of my husband’s favorite spots located immediately next door to Sonic on Main Street they have authentic Mexican food at reasonable prices. Meat available includes chicken, steak, carnitas, picadillo, barbacoa all for your tacos, gorditas, fajitas, burritos, quesadillas, or bowls. For your side you can choose from the rice and beans. They also conveniently have a little man in a cart who serves elotes. The normal drinks would include soda or tea. They presently don’t have any desserts but they do have authentic Mexican candy at the counter you can buy.

The tacos was ok, the only problem was the casher make my order, she gave an insufficient amount of meat(chicken) on my tacos. It seem like she has a little attitude. Plus, she only me one sauce, when I requested more. She replied you only get one sauce for each three tacos, I have two orders. I have been to many Mexican restaurants, this one was one of the worst. The gas station tacos are better than those. They need work on their customer service and food distribution. I am frist time customer and I will never go back :(, I was very dispointed. Worse tacos.

No elotes today, they have run out of corn! What kind of food establishment runs out of food? I’m really disappointed since this is the closest place I can get elotes.

Great food for the money! ;) Our Shop, Annice Antiques, is right down the street from City Tacos. Our employees all have eaten there & enjoy the food!

At first I was impressed. Now I’m just content. Everyone has been friendly. but their tacos were just. normal. Not bad, but not awesome wow fantastic. Their red salsa has a good kick, tho. Then I went to their original location downtown. I don’t know what it is, but it’s so much better to just make the trip if you want some pretty authentic street tacos. My advice for this location is get one of the cooks from the other place and you will be set.

The tacos were pretty good. The salsa verde was REAL good. The girl that took my order was surly. I will not go back because of her.

We wanted something«quick and close» for dinner, and were pleasantly surprised by this«hole in the wall»! Just be sure to not overlook this place, tucked away by Sonic. I had the burrito bowl with chicken — huge portion, loaded with flavor. My husband had three tacos — overflowing with the toppings. For under 10 bucks we were able to both eat a filling dinner that was fresh, not greasy, and satisfied both of our palates! We will definitely be returning… soon!
