History

Established in 1980.

Heating and cooling has been the Streitz family business since the 1920s when Alfred Streitz started working in the St Cloud area. He brought the business to the Northfield area in 1958 and together with his sons Jim and Joel served customers in the new home and residential furnace-​air conditioning business.

Son Jesse purchased and expanded the business in 1980, moving to the current location in 1987.

Business Owner

Attended Mankato State University, graduating in 1974 with BA in Industrial Education. Taught Industrial Arts until purchasing the family heating/​cooling business in 1980.

Active in national HVAC organization, local public service as past city council member and past Mayor of Dundas. Sons Andrew S. and Nick S. are active in the business as General Manager and Service Manager, respectively.
