Bambino Pizza & Pasta

4 stars PLUS — for a great pizza, fantastic wings, and nice little side salads. We love this place. It’s clean, quaint, and delicious. Friendly servers and just a nice experience.

Went here about a month or so ago with my son and a friend of his. Waited a HOUR for three COLD sandwiches, two weren’t even correct but we were so hungry and ticked off we didn’t care at that point. There is no sandwich worth waiting that long for. I didn’t appreciate the repeated «oh it will just be another minute or two…» from the borderline rude staff either. This place is a stone’s throw from my house but I will never be back.

How shall I begin to state my experience here? I placed an order for delivery, and the girl estimated that it would take about 45 minutes to arrive. 50 minutes have passed, and my order has not yet arrived. I call back and the girl says an additional 10 minutes. I wait another 15, and what do you know, my order still has not arrived. I call back one last time, and the girl says that the delivery girl went out for another delivery and has to go back to the store to pick up my order and will be an additional 15 to 20 minutes. I just told the girl to forget about my order because I refuse to wait almost an hour and a half for an order. When I told her to forget it, she sounded as if I did something wrong. I will never order from this place again.

I’ve lived less than a mile from this spot for close to 20 years, off and on, and have only been one other time, many, many years ago. Decided to give it a shot today and was definitely nervous upon arriving and seeing the layout inside. Any place that has a bathroom outside… oh man, watch out ! The last time I used an outdoor bathroom (this one came with a KEY and a pre-​emptive apology – I think the waitress caught my expression– YIKES!) was in Belize and it was downright scary as someone was living in that one when I attempted to enter. Anyhoo – this bathroom, while outdoors, was IMMACULATE and had smokin’ hot water, as well as no inhabitants, so maybe I need to re-​assess my blanket disgust with outdoor bathrooms. On to the pizza. Not at all disappointing! It has a crispier, oilier crust, nice sheen, (this is a GOOD thing) with decent quality pepperoni and OK cheese. We killed a large pie handily – this is not a «filling» pizza, or what I call a «dinner» pizza, but today, it fit the bill and we were pleasantly surprised. Fellow diners had eggplant and ziti dishes that looked great. Price was right, just at $ 20 with sodas and tip. Service was very gracious and I’m betting these are newer owners from my last visit. We will return.

Had a really good time here. It was a friend’s birthday & we were a party of 17. Service was great, Shannon did an incredible job! We all shared the mozzarella sticks, Greek salad, & antipasto salad. All delicious! For entrees hubby and I shared the Tequila Sunrise pizza & Italian hoagie (hot), both very good. Everyone else’s food looked great. Prices are very reasonable. Would definitely return!

Thin crust when I asked for thick.
Very little toppings and very skant cheese. even though I asked for extra cheese.
Crust too hard to eat. sad cuz I love crust.
Pizza was late and cold.
Epic fail.

Always Looking to find a better pizza I tried Bambinos New York style pizza, I found the crust to be soggy and had paid extra for double cheese, and had virtually no cheese just a sprinkle here and there, hopefully someone will come to Dunedin with a great pizza soon.

Go here every friday night great pizza and im very pick avout my pizza but they will have my business for many years to come

Local pizza joint with horrible service. I actually went to the counter and handed them my glass for a refill. Pizza is good but pasta is not. I would give the pizza 3 stars but the service 0 stars so that is why the 2 stars. They don’t deliver far either and if I am going for take out, I choose a better place. It is very loud and full of kids so if you want the kids to run while you wait… it seems the place for kids to run between tables or under them.

Best pizza in Dunedin!!! Try the vegetarian pizza!!!

There is a much better NY style pizza place up the street (on Alt. 19 going toward Palm Harbor) called Plum Tomatoes. It’s great! No comparison to this garbage.

We have ordered take out from Bambino a few times and have enjoyed the pizza but have nothing to rave about. It is not traditional New York style and even ordering well done couldn’t bring a crispy crust after deliver. Family friends recommended the restaurant for their ambiance so we hope to try eating in soon.

Went with family, and enjoyed their great antipasto salads; for 6 of us, we split a large and a small salad, and had plenty to share. Casual, nice place with friendly staff. Good place to watch a game or enjoy a conversation. The pepperoni and mushroom pizza we had was very good, too! Generous toppings, good sauce, and chewy crust that we really liked. We’ll definitely be coming back, next time we visit this area of Florida!
