Log Cabin BBQ

This little operation on the side of Alt 19 next to a vegetable stand is run by a friendly guy who takes pride in his homemade BBQ. He recommended the smoked chopped chicken and generously offered a sample but we wanted to try some other options.
The smoked sausage sandwich topped with sweet seasoned kraut and spicy mustard ($ 5.50) was definitely tasty. The potato roll was very fresh and his kraut seemed made from scratch.
The pulled pork sandwich ($ 5.50 for the piglet size) was probably the most sauce I’ve ever had in a sandwich. His bbq sauce is a tad sweeter than I usually like but the meat was lean, flavorful, plentiful and everything balances nicely with the potato roll.
You’ll be in and out quickly here and the meat will not disappoint your BBQ craving.

Giving this little place 5 stars. While staying across the street at the RV park we decided to pick up BBQ and eat at home. Very good and good portions on all our meats. We ordered the ribs and chicken breast. Cole slaw was fresh and baked beans were tasty and all homemade. Strictly carry out. No dining tables.
