FABULOUS CONTRACTOR! Quality work, professional. I lived in Dunellen and have used this contractor numerous times. Bathroom remodel, deck installation, window installation, siding. I moved out of Dunellen 7 years ago and used them to fix up my new home. I have always found them to be extremely professional and their work is oustanding. Everything they have done in both of my homes has remained, to this day, in good shape and still look and function like new. This is the ONLY contractor I recommend in the area. They are honest, professional and reasonably priced. The workers are hard working, friendly individuals. Thanks to them, I have a beautiful home. Keep up the amazing work!!!

If you value your home — DO NOT use this contractor! I thought since he was well known in the town (i.e.; practically owns half of it) that his company would do good work. After all, if you live in a town and do work in that town, you want to keep a good reputation, right?
This is the work he did for us and the results of it:
1. Replaced gutters on the house and garage. Work was done eight years ago, still ok.
2. Replaced four windows with double hung, double pane, insulated windows and replaced a regular window with a garden window. Work done seven years ago. Three of the windows now have built up haze or condensation between the glass and are impossible to see thru, the garden window’s latches failed two years ago as well.
3. Built a 15 X 10 deck, tore out a wall and installed a sliding glass door (we purchased the door as we wanted one with «panes» in it to match the other windows and he claimed he could not get that style, we purchased it at Lowes and had it delivered). Work was done at the same time as the windows. The deck showed issues within two years — nails were hastily driven and split boards but were left in place, the railing was never secured so if you lean on it, it shakes. The front framing of the deck has pulled away form the first flooring board by over 5 inches space now, the stairs are tilted, the hand rails on the stairs are warped. This deck has been weather treated every year as well — we tried to keep it from deteriorating further. The Sliding glass door itself is fine, but the framing now leaks water if there is a driving rain.
4. Installed a 12 foot section of fencing from edge of garage to house. Done a month after the deck (the owner just added this on to the total without documenting it, so I have no paperwork on this either). The workers (who were often shirtless in my yard eating their lunches) dug into the ground without checking for power lines, severed the line from our house to the garage and kept going. After the installation it took a week before we realized we had no power in the garage. When called on it, the owner had his men dig it back up, they found their error. He then had a shady electrician come and replace the line work, who then tried to BILL ME! I settled that out, his men came back, filled in their mess with a patch job which now allows ground water to absorb down and leak into my basement.
He protects himself from re-​doing work by claiming no warranty on materials unless he «supplies customer with warranty paperwork». Since he didn’t supply me with that, even though he told me the windows were «only the best» that he gets right from the factory, I can’t do anything about it.
I tried to be friendly and I tried to use in town businesses — but this is a rip off. I don’t have the money to replace shoddy workmanship, so I have to live with it. Don’t make the same mistake I did!

The contractor in question has decided to respond to this review with lies and name calling. What an unfortunate shame. They refuse to actually address the issues I brought up and instead resort to lies. So be it. I paid for all work, in full, and have the receipt to prove it. I can’t fake the ill-​done work, and it is still a part of my house for any to see. I did have to ask the workers to put their shirts back on while my young teenage girls were home, and to clean up their lunch mess, so no, I would never have approached any of them to do work outside of the scope of their employment. As a former District Manager for a large property management firm, I even tried to get this contractor on our list of approved vendors to help them out, but after the firm interviewed several of their other customers they declined putting them on the list. The allegation that they spoke to other contractors in the area is completely untrue. See my other reviews of the ONLY contractors I have ever used, some of whom I have friends with now and have used multiple times both in my home and professionally.
