Yum-Yum Shrimp bowl, baked Mahi-Mahi, sides of broccoli and mashed potatoes. Washed down with a variety of local wines and a Jack & Coke. Good time with friends and live music.

I’m in customer service, I take pride in the service I give, there food serves it purpose it’s hearty and Greasy when you need that sort of thing. They do forget details my Togo never has any sauce I ask for I ask in the beginning so I don’t run them at the end but it’s never there, they forget sides I order a lot and some times pay for it. Not a lot of options in Dunkirk, I think it could be great if they cut the menu in half way to many items for a cook to master. And kinda slack employees.

2 stars only because they have beer and keno… food is over priced and over cooked. Worst wings I’ve ever had… had the beef too. full of fat. Horrible! Dunkirk needs better restaurants. Walk a few extra steps to… The wings are better at ledos!

Food varies from being bad to great depending on how they treat and train their workers. They pay them all minimum wage, minimum time(have deliver folk work on/off their convenience, even in the kitchen etc at reduced delivery rates), and aren’t giving back to the community like they advertise. I met the owner once after receiving a bad order, and he didn’t care to go above and beyond to fix anything or say sorry; seemed like an ok guy though. Not sure what’s going on with this place; definitely some mis-management though. A side note: The wings would be much better if they didn’t smother them with so much breading. They can be really good sometimes.

Completely awesome, the food is always perfect this is my families«go to», the portions are great, cooked perfectly. Service can be slow but food is worth the wait. Recommend ribs, they are really good and old bay fries

The boys and I try to do Friday nights here whenever I am in town. Yes, sometimes it can be a little slow, and the food is not always perfect, but usually is pretty good, the big menu provides plenty of choices, the young staff is always friendly, and it is a local business, not a soulless chain, so easy to overlook the petty complaints of the 1-star reviews. The tenders and ribs are good, my 12-yo loves the classic steak and cheese. It is worth stopping here if you are in the area.

Another reviewer noted that this place is very much hit or miss, and that is absolutely spot on. Too bad that lately it has been far more miss than hit for me. Where to really start here is tough to decide. I guess I’d go with the fries. Horrible the last several times I’ve dared to try them. Today, as my spouse noted, the fries carried the taste of oil that hasn’t been changed frequently enough. If it has been changed, then it needs to be changed to another brand that doesn’t make the things cooked in it taste off. Next up, the burger that my spouse ordered was overdone and dry, dry, dry. I don’t think it would have worked as a sponge as it was that dry. Blech. Add on top of that the lack of attention by the kitchen staff and/or the cashier who entered the order as the burger was topped with everything rather than having it on the side as was asked for. At least the mayo that was supposed to be held wasn’t there. Meanwhile I had ordered a Steak and Cheese sandwich plain. It came dried out as well, and cold to boot.(Actually the burger for my spouse was cold as well.) It also came with lettuce and no cheese. Uh, plain meat and cheese is not plain with lettuce on it. Finally the one thing that I can normally somewhat count on, but have found too inconsistent in my last 4 — 5 visits, the chicken tenders. Today was not a good day for those either. Dried out as well. Not nearly as bad as the steak and cheese, but not great either. It’s sad that this place has gotten so far a stream from where I’ve known them to be. They have been much better in the past, but I swear at this point its about 6 years or so ago that they were really worth visiting. After this latest visit, I don’t expect I’ll be coming back too soon, if at all.

I’ve tried this place several times in hopes of ordering something delicious. It was great finding a local non-chain restaurant that delivers, but this place just fails to deliver good food. You would think since heavenly chicken and ribs is in the name, they would at least specialize in those items. They must have very poor turnover, since nothing seems fresh. Delivery takes at least an hour and the food arrives cool and soggy. Great location, great menu, but poor execution. Can’t see them surviving in Dunkirk unless they make vast changes.

We’ve been going pretty regularly for a few months this winter. Everyone in my party always enjoys all their food. It’s not a table service style restaurant, you order at the counter. The food is made to order, so some items may take longer to make. There is a lot more on the menu then the name implies. I like to get the po boys and the beer battered rockfish. My little one loves their pizza and hush puppies. It’s a go to place for a weekend lunch that everyone will like.

Our order contained a «full» rack of ribs and pulled chicken sandwich, along with mac-n-cheese, fries and Greek salad. The fries and salad were best part of the order. The pulled chicken was dry and tough in every bite. When I called to ask if this is typical the girl who answered said«No» and something along the lines that maybe it had been«microwaved too long.» BBQ chicken should not be microwaved. The full rack of ribs was small and full of fat. Overall it was disappointing as we were all looking forward to some good BBQ. This was a $ 50 order and we all felt jipped. The girl who answered the phone was nice, and I was placed on an «Oops» list for a free sandwich, but it will be a while before its redeemed.

This place is very, very hit and miss. I’ve had times where the chicken is better than average and the ribs are decent, but more often than not, the food is barely passable and the supermarket chicken from the Giant next door becomes a much more appetizing idea. My first time here, my chicken was pretty decent but after repeated underwhelming experiences, I decided to try their brisket sandwich. Bad idea, the«brisket«was thinly sliced, extremely dry and tough, and drowned in mediocre sauce. It was like eating a sandwich made out of uncured raw bacon smothered in sweet baby rays. I won’t be coming back for a while, but I hold out hope that maybe they can figure out their quality control/consistency issues and provide a consistent decent product. Until then, you’d be better off with a bag of supermarket fried chicken and a tub of Lloyd’s.

Best old bay wings that you’ll find anywhere. Haven’t tried any other food there, but that’s because the old bay wings are so good. You can’t beat the buy 10 wings get 5 free on Wednesdays either. A little bit pricey but well worth it, but one negative thing I can say is that I got a side of mashed potatoes once and I’m pretty sure it was heated up in the microwave because the outside was boiling hot and burnt around the edges but the inside was ice cold. Other than that go get old bay wings from there right now!!!

They have the worst service in all of Calvert County. I had to wait 45 mins for a togo order because they screwed the order up. The workers are just young kids and really could careless about the quality of the food or service. I would save your money and go across the street to chesapeake grille and deli. Fresher product, way better service and a better layout.

I finally found my favorite restaurant in Dunkirk, MD! I order the tenders a lot but every time I speak with Gary and Jen they recommend something new to the menu that is always delicious. The service is excellent. This is not a fast food restaurant. Food is prepared to order and in my experience is hot and delicious. Next time you’re in town check them out and try the naked tenders or the pulled chicken BBQ sandwich. That is all. Goodnight.

Fantastic food. Horrible carry out service. Called in order 30 minutes before arrival. Once we arrived, still waited 15 minutes to get out food. This is not an isolated incident.

Passed by one day and went back thinking it was another BBQ. The crab soup was good… But the biscuits were like rocks, ribs were overcooked and dry with mediocre pizza that took a long time. The Ultimate Sin is an ultimate NONO!!! Inedible! Seems like a fun place for the kids and perhaps the fried chicken is great. I just don’t know if I will go back.

We’ve continually had good meals here! As a non-meat eater, I was most appreciative of their willingness to add chick peas or other beans to my salad so that I could have an extra source of protein! My husband loves the fried chicken and tenders, and also got a ton of wings for Super Bowl which he and our friends loved! Make sure you try the Ultimate Sin for dessert!
