the locker floors are disgusting. I told the manager to add shower stalls to the boys showers the old men dont look at our boys naked! they promised they will install the shower stalls, they never did! i will not allow my boy to go to the lockers with all these old men there! its a shame that they dont care about the safety of our kids! to work out for a day used to be $ 5 which is reasonable as their facility is old. now its $ 10 not worth it

I called to set my 2 year old up for their daycare program. I work Monday thru Friday 8 – 5 but my husband works on a swing shift, which means that one week he works Monday, Thursday and Friday and then he next week he works Tuesday and Wednesday and it rotates like that all year. We have his schedule for the whole year so I wanted to sign him up for their three day a week option and was told that they couldn’t accommodate my schedule because he wouldn’t be going the same three days every week. I’m actually really surprised and disappointed that they weren’t willing to work with me, especially because both me and my son are members.

My 11 year old son and other boys were allowed to be in a locker room with a naked man. I was never called or notified when this happened was only given a false version of what happened by a counselor via the phone, my husband was told when he picked up our child. It was not until we have pending calls out to authorities was the YMCA addressing this matter. When I asked to have someone call me who was in charge of the y I was told he was gone for the day and I could call back in the morning. This matter was handled very poorly from a place in trusted with children.

old school — and not chic back in the day type 80s… sketchy locker room. old equipment. newer life fitness equipment in big gym but not that new.
