Beer selection is superb and this place is super clean and beautiful. Love the keg info scrolling on the TV’s. Food is average but I’m going to be here a lot now.

Great food, extremely large portions, great price! Very unassuming from the outside, but do not let that fool you. The new interior is comfortable, refined, and immaculate. There are tvs if you want to watch, but they are not intrusive if you don’t. The staff are very professional and friendly, they work together to make sure guests are well taken care of. The bar seating is great, and the bartenders are wonderful. The beer menu, posted on monitors throughout the restaurant, are unique to the area. Be ready to be pleasantly surprised. Be ready to leave full, but very content. Just go early(no later than 5:30) or be ready to wait in line(it’s well worth the wait, I promise).

Beautiful inside, excellent selection of craft beers(always a plus for us!) and wonderful salads that were so big we had trouble eating them without dropping pieces on the table! Take out containers were a must — and being able to enjoy again(via leftovers) the next day is always a good thing! Service was attentive and friendly. We’ve only been there once but will definitely be back.

Wouldn’t know — hostess told us 10 minute wait. Left after having waited over 35 minutes while watching people who came in well after us be seated ahead of us. It was obvious 1 – 3 parties were friends of other employees so that naturally justified bumping us.

This was a GREAT find… What a surprise when we walked in. I’m not sure if it was recently renovated but inside was beautiful– not like the exterior… Food was great too!

The food is amazing. The owner is such a great guy and the food portion is unbelievable. The beer list is awesome and the restaurant is clean and very appealing! Gets very busy all the time so expect to wait a little– which is expected in such a good place

Huge portions. Fries are usually very good. They make really solid hot wing related items. Their«plain hot» wings are up there with the better ones in the area. This place is almost always busy, even 1:00 pm on a Tuesday. I’ve seen people waiting to be seated for lunch, which is definitely out of the ordinary for a non-niche place. I would make sure you’re not in a rush when you plan to eat here. The only real gripe I have is the pricing. $ 6.50+ for a craft draft is a bit much. I get it, they definitely have unique and hard to find options, but spending about $ 15 on two drafts in NEPA is baseball stadium pricing. The price of the food reflects the portion size, but I could definitely live with smaller portions, especially for lunch, if it meant knocking the price down. Overall, definitely recommended.

You will not find this quality of food anywhere in a 30 mile radius — the menu selection is great!

Super busy. Ate at the bar. Crab dip was super rich and a little flat. Way too big of a portion not enough bread. Would have been better with corn chips. Salads were ginormous and way way way too much lettuce. Services was great! Beer selection was great! The digital beer menu was cool. Beer prices were high. Older crowd.

In a small down that has seen much better economic days… this joint is packed nightly. The only down side here is that you may wait for a table even at 9pm on Wednesday. Best brew selection in town. Fries are an amazing experience that feels like the perfect intersection of curly fries, steak fries, and baked potato wedges. 8 bucks will get you a meal that you struggle to complete. Pretzel melts are the best value though I wish they used fresher/thicker cuts of meat. Service a tad slow and curt… seems like they are perhaps slightly jaded by how popular the place is. Either way I will be around plenty.

Frist off we stopped for lunch on a Thursday the place was packed ! I feel it took to long before the waitress even asked for our drinks and that took for ever I look at the table behind us and she is clearing the table off? What?? then she pours our drinks I feel service is slow and not well thought out ! French onion soup was good but not headed enuff the cheese needs to be browned plus one of my lunch dates had to send her soup back to be heated more the appetizers holy cow what a portion we could not eat all of it not what you call it I guess loaded frys get loaded loading dock anyway I had a french dip yes a french theme this thing is huge IL take a pic more food than you can eat !!

Stopped in on a Thursday night while in town for business. I was a little leery about a strip mall bar but it was within walking distance of my hotel, The Quality Inn, and all the reviews seemed decent. Plus, an employee at the State Store down the way highly recommended their beer selection. The restaurant area was pretty packed but I had no trouble finding a spot at the bar. They have a large draft selection which is broadcast on a tv above the taps. However, it only shows a few selections at a time and you have to watch the whole loop to see the complete list. When I asked if they had a printed list one of the bar tenders begrudgingly pointed to the TV and said there’s the list. Alrighty then. But later, when I commented on the extensive list to the other younger bar tender he magically made a printed list appear. Inconsistent staff manners aside, the beers were excellent(a bit pricey though) and paired well with my salad, wait what? Yeah, I was that guy that ordered a salad in a beer bar. Don’t judge me, it was their Signature Salad and it was fantastic! I added shrimp for an extra charge and no lie they were some of the biggest I have ever seen. The house balsamic was incredible too. But be warned the salad was obnoxiously huge; big enough for a family of four to share. In fact, as I sat at the bar watching other orders come out«huge» is the best word I would use to describe most of their dishes. But they all looked amazing. Besides, the great beers and the delicious salad the salt & pepper shakers were a highlight. Kitschy, but added some character to the dining experience. Overall, if I’m back in town I’ll definitely stop in again for some beers but I’ll definitely have to try something other than a salad. Maybe the grumpy bartender will have a recommendation. Ha!

The bacon wrapped chicken was incredibly moist and delicious. So good, I came back for lunch in the same week. Their side and entrée salads are amazing. Fresh baby spring mix and very satisfying. Sit at the bar and you’ll be a regular after your first visit!

Pros: The food here is banging! Lots and lots of food to eat. Great selection of beers if you are into unique, seasonal blends. Cons: Beer is expensive. The amount of food you receive is overwhelming with the focus mainly on the sides instead of the entrees. I just wish the amount of food was more entrée and less side. I can’t eat a mountain of rice or pasta and I think it does too much cluttering on my plate. The owners/bartenders are super clean and at times clean under your plate while you are eating which can be at times overwhelming. Everyone I talked to spoke at me, not with me. They were very abrasive.

One of my girl and I top 5 restaurants. Every time I have ever been here the service has been at least an 8 out of 10 and the preparation of the food has always been a 10 out of 10. Place has a wide assortment if tap beers as week as a bottled selection and all of the staff are knowledgable to help you with your selection. Mixed drinks are always spot on as well. The new location is tastefully for all with emphasis on the food first and bar second. Everything is always tastefully done and the entire staff exudes the same level of respect and confidence. Great place for the friends or to take a date… Even the parents if need be lol . My only complaint about the food and restaurant as a whole is that I do not get to go enough!!!

The Loading Dock is always on point. It starts with their meticulous owner, who I’m pretty sure has OCD but in a good way. He will walk around like the bald eagle that he is making sure everything is clean and tidy. EAGLEEYES is what I call him. This makes the restaurant very clean and welcoming. The only downsize to that personality is I bet he is difficult to work for… Oh well, not there for a job! The food is good and portion sizes are great. I will recommend this place for anyone in the area looking for a nice size meal with a great price. I’d give it a 3.5 stars but I can’t. So by default I give them a 4 star rating. Enjoy.

I’m disappointed at this place. I have heard of good reviews a lot before they move. About Good food and huge portion food. I tried French onion soup, wings, wraps, cheese steak. Wings tasted funky, not fresh. Garlic sauce had over powering with garlic juice from jar of garlic… smilers and ale Mary has much better French onion soup and wings(I am a kind of person judge the place from a typical item such French onion soup). I feel beers are over priced. maybe this place is still poplar for the traditional American menu when the other bars I like have limited unique menu but delicious! Recommend: Hmmm nothing:(

I only have ever gotten your salads or the veggie wrap, being a vegetarian, and it is delicious. I almost always order to go orders, and the occasional 45 minute wait is much deserved considering how crazy busy this place is all the time. The wrap is ways consistently awesome, and I love their fries. The portions are huge, a salad could feed a small family for days. The prices are reasonable. When I occasionally meet a friend for a beer the bartenders are always attentive and friendly. The owner, Anthony, is the epitome of customer service. He is welcoming to all, remembers so many of his patrons names, consistently checks on his customers, and the place is immaculately clean. I love you, Loading Dock.
