Just ok. Typical Dennys type food. Nice staff and very clean but not what I would call a «must stop».

Just visited this restaurant and I must say the environment was very welcoming. The waitress and bus boy was great also. Great place to dine in with family.

Well it’s hard to screw up toast that was the only thing good about this place. The waitress introduced herself by sharing with us how sweaty she was«my shirt is just soaked!» Hash brown were raw and resembled ramen. They attemped to correct tje hasbrown and they were brought back looking like ramen with soy sauce. Omelet runny and made with American cheese like substance. Link sausage. .ever heard of jimmy dean? Have no idea what that meat like link actually was. GROSS

My family and I stopped in here to get breakfast while we were on the road to Charleston, SC. We saw that the restaurant was full(which is usually a good sign in the north) and we were expecting some good breakfast good. There were four adults and two children, and there wasn’t one table to accommodate us all so two adults sat at one table and the other two sat with the two children. This wasn’t horrible but it was weird when the waitresses told us that we had different waitresses and would have separate checks. None of this bothered us, but it was kind of weird. Anyway, between the four adults we got two Hobo specials(sausage mixed into scrambled eggs with a side of pancakes), kielbasa and eggs, and country ham steak with one egg. The sausage and eggs had zero flavor. It was surprising because it wasn’t even salty, it literally tasted like eggs with unseasoned ground beef mixed in. The pancakes were very gummy, like they were made with cornstarch. The kind of pancakes that soak up all of the syrup and then still need more syrup on top. I tasted my sister’s ham steak and it was very good. They only had American cheese, and my sister got American cheese added to her(ONE) egg, and it was an additional charge of $ 1.50. This just seems excessive. Not that $ 1.50 is cost prohibitive, but it literally just seems like an excessive amount of money for a processed cheese slice. We were very underwhelmed with the food, to say the least. When you travel from the South from NJ/NY you expect some really good cooking. This place did not deliver at all.

I was introduced to this place a few months ago and I must say I really like their food. My favorite so far is the pancakes and sausage links. You will not be disappointed eating here. The food is fresh, tasty, and inexpensive.

Nice, friendly, cheap, and quick little breakfast place. Skip the big chain country store across the highway and come here.

We’ve been passing the sign on I-95 for this place for years, but since we usually travel from the beach on Sundays, a visit wasn’t an option. Well, this year we stayed a day later… I was looking for an alternative to the Waffle House, which I abandoned because of their despicable political affiliations. Why my partner thought this was a viable alternative, I’ll never know. As agnostic Jews, I guess he thought it would be a trip. Personally, I’d rather not have a side of Jesus with my waffle, but whatever. Honestly, I have no complaints. The fare was pretty much like the Waffle House or any other similar pancake stop. The service was lovely – and quick. The hash browns were so good we ordered more. The biscuits were just so-so, and my waffle sogged under a heavy ladling of frozen strawberries and a ton of whipped cream. But we left full and happy. The place clearly attracts a crowd of believers, as one might expect, with patrons praying quietly at their tables. Our waitress wished us a blessed day, which is hard to take offense to. The marquee proudly proclaims«GODSNOTDEAD.» But hey – from the billboards on the highway to the«No profanity – Jesus is Lord» sign in the kitchen to the menus advising you to «attend the church of your choice,» you pretty much know what to expect from the get. Parking spaces in the back were reserved for Papa and Granny Tart, the owners. Overall, it was cheap, decent food with friendly service, and the place has its charm.

Although Triangle Waffle has good reviews and billboards on 95, it is rarely open. We made a huge detour last Saturday afternoon and it was closed. You’d better call ahead. Why not advertise the hours? So we went to nearby Sagebrush where the service and food were excellent. Our waitress said TW was only open for breakfast. :-(

Simple, straight forward and tasty. This is Americana. Good food at good prices. Good people in a good place. Go for the Hobo Special or the Country Ham.

Great breakfast spot. I recommend the country ham. Service is quick and friendly. I plan to go back soon and try the waffles and add that review. The place is clean. The interior is neat, not worn and torn. Health rating is 100/A. The only problem I had was the ladies behind the counter staring at me and whispering. Maybe because I was new? I don’t know. But it was rude and slightly irritating. If it happens again I won’t let it pass. Other then that. I highly recommend

This is one of the best breakfast places in the country. The pancakes are all I have ever gotten because they are so good I never bother to order anything else. The staff is always friendly and efficient. The place looks a little worn and dated but don’t let that fool you.

Our Saturday morning ritual! If you have the opportunity to eat here STOP and eat the pancakes. After eating here, I have stopped making pancakes because they can’t(and won’t ever) compare! Unless you get there before 8AM, you will probably have to wait, but it’s worth every bite. It is an older establishment, but don’t let it fool you. If you have kids, Mr. Tart will typically have a sticker for them at the end of your meal. Great staff and wonderful food!

This place offers a LHM breakfast… Lawd Have Mercy breakfast! Great southern breakfast with better service than your mother ever gave you growing up. Not a new or upscale dining environment but definitely immaculate. A 100 health grade. Oh yeah… a heavy breakfast for 4 was under $ 30. This place is worth the drive or stoping in if traveling. Just remember it is a breakfast and lunch place only.

Great place! Huge slice of country ham, not too salty, not too peppery, perfectly cooked over easy eggs, decent grits with big pool of butter, AND two huge biscuits, all yummy and served super fast by very friendly folks. These kind of places are becoming more rare, enjoy while you still can. WAY, and I mean WAY better than chains like Cracker Barrel.

Triangle Waffle– Where Jesus is Lord! No profanity will be spoken here and they are closed on Sunday. Just little old ladies doing what they do best, fattening you up and talking about their loved ones for all the world to hear! I felt like I was back home in SC, maybe at a church fundraiser or something, and that’s not a bad thing. The food is standard goodness, nothing to complain about by any means. The people are down-home but don’t come in here to make fun. This is ‘merica and you gotta appreciate that these places still exist!
