Established in 1984.

Our family eyecare practice was established in Dunwoody by Dr. Judson Briggs in 1984. I trust my eyes to Dr. Erick Smith and his team! That says it all! I have been a patient along with my wife for over 12 years. Everyone is on the ball in the office along with generating a very positive experience and trust in the patients in their care. The practice is fair and worthy of my trust. The optometrists know what they are doing and are competitively priced. It goes without saying that Dr. Erick is professional, honest and has my best interests in mind. He is an exceptional Doctor.

Briggs is top notch for customer service. I have been coming here for several years and I have very specific vision needs. When they themselves thought I needed to see a specialty they were able to handle the recommendation.
Recently I had an emergency, and after a coupe of questions over the phone, they were able to get me in for a same day appointment to see the doctor.
The doctor not just looked at me and asked questions, but gave me a complete exam to make sure my eye infection was not too bad. They even recommended a medication, was honest about the cost and whether they felt I could really benefit from it and gave me a coupon for the medicine I did need.
I highly recommend them especially if you have very specific vision needs.

My husband and I have been going to Dr. Erick Smith for many years and like many others, tend to ignore postings when the service has been exceptional. This time I made sure I didn’t. I was out of town and had a problem with my eye (on a Sat. of course) and called the office. Much to my surprise Dr. Smith himself called me back soon thereafter. That in itself is amazing but really no surprise as everyone in that office has always been incredibly professional and responsive. Exceptional customer service can only flow from the top down. My co-​worker had eye surgery overseas and had trouble with finding someone to follow-​up with her in the US. She went to see Dr. Briggs and continues to rave about him every time she sees him.

Very friendly staff. Felt at home all throughout my appointment. Would have given 5 stars for bigger frame selection. I’m used to a larger selection back home in Ohio. Overall I was extremely pleased with my eye appointment from booking the appointment to picking up my glasses! Thanks Briggs! Consider me a loyal customer!

Love them! I have being seeing Dr. Smith for several years, and he is the most genuine, sincere and thorough optician I have ever been to. Most recently, I have had some vision issues to include halos and double-​vision, and even though we’re smack dab in the middle pollen season, he was not dismissive of my concerns at all. Their selection of eyeglass frames are good, and they take plenty of time to make sure you get what you want.

love them! great location, ample parking and friendly staff. the doctors are great. i like dr. briggs himself. very knowledgeable and geeky about glasses — but that’s what i like about them. tons of brand-​name and high end choices like Coach — as well as some lower end. you can walk in anytime for an adjustment to your glasses. can’t beat them in the neighborhood!
