History

Established in 1991.

After working in public accounting and real estate development for twelve years, a need for personalized accounting, tax and management services for small business owners was apparent. We provide professional support to the small business owner who requires supplemental C level business and financial transition services, including the start up or sale of their business, as well as operational or staffing matters. We assist with ongoing accounting and tax compliance issues. It is our goal to provide customized financial, business and litigation support services, facilitated by knowledge of the business and its owner (s). We also work with business owners who are facing IRS audits. Our unique approach incorporates many years of business and financial operations experience, combined with the understanding that all business issues and solutions must be tailored to the needs of the particular situation. Business Owner

Deborah worked in a CPA firm in Knoxville, while attending the University of Tennessee. Her experience with entrepreneurial small businesses during the World’s Fair in Knoxville fostered her understanding that Certified Public Accountants are in a unique position to understand the specific challenges, goals and requirements of business owner (s), thereby positioning the CPA to work as a team with other advisors to support the business and its owner (s)’ growth and success. Deborah has worked in public and private accounting since relocating from Knoxville to Atlanta, GA in 1986. In 1991, Deborah began providing management, financial and taxation services for small to medium closely-​held businesses. During this time, Deborah has served as a C level executive in companies that are undergoing significant transition in connection with preparation for acquisition. She has represented clients before the IRS, and worked with clients’ attorneys in connection with business and tax matters.
