If you have windows that require rope access make sure that you hire a company that is certified by the IRATA — (International Rope Access Trade Association) otherwise you are increasing your exposure to liability and litigation that could cripple your business. An IRATA certification is required in all high angle industries such as wind turbine repair and off-shore drilling equipment maintenance, window cleaning is no different.
Don’t be fooled no other certification can replace an IRATA certificate.
