Solid coffee joint. I’m sorry I haven’t stopped by before but it’s easy to zoom by on Highway 3.
Located pretty much across the street from the Animas Surgical Hospital, my mom and I stopped by to try a cup of joe. The owner (Patrick I believe?) was super nice and let us smell a bag of beans that were on offer for the day. It smelled so amazing that we had to buy a little bag. I decided to try a latte while my mom got the mocha. The barista is definitely well trained, and he took his time making each cup of coffee which was nice: D
The latte was pretty good, I think I should have added some sugar (definitely will do next time). My mom liked the mocha but you can taste the bitterness of the high cocoa chocolate (be ready for it). The interior of the coffeehouse is pretty sparse, but there are games, magazines, and newspapers around; I really enjoyed the talking points cards, they were a lot of fun!

Amazing little specialty coffee shop and best in Durango! Finally found one my style here not using ashy over roasted coffee. Patrick (owner) is awesome barista that truly cares about coffee and very friendly too! My Kenyan ‘spro was a perfectly pulled shot and the Guatemalan V60 was perfect as well. I did not have a latte but i noticed the ones that were served to other customers and the latte art wasnt that great but hey art isnt everything! The atmosphere is modern and inviting. You wont be dissapointed!

This coffee is worth your time and money! Get a coffee education if you want, or just sit and enjoy a perfectly brewed cup from someone who has done their research and will take their time to make it perfectly.

Durango has many good coffee shops… But Bedhead Coffee House has the best coffee I’ve had so far. This is not a coffee house that is out to push as many drinks out as possible; it’s one whose goal is to make a perfect cup of coffee. Please try for yourself. The cold brew coffee is incredible as well as their lattes!

Great little spot for coffee, tea and board games on each table. They have real air conditioning! And the service is friendly.

This place has the best coffee in town. Get the chemex you won’t be disappointed. They take their time to create each cup, not mass produced like other shops. Coffee is freshly roasted. The owner is a trained barista.

I wrote an earlier review stating that this is the best coffeehouse in town. As it turns out, I can say this is the best place for Joe in the entire west. I order lattes out every single day, I travel a LOT, and this place has ruined me for all other establishments. I cannot say enough for the quality, the consistency, the quiet earnestness of the owner who knows his business. If you’re lucky enough to be in Durango, I insist you visit Bedhead.
