History

Established in 1994.

Armed with a single carpet cleaning unit and the determination to achieve a dream, Chris Rezek moved his family to Durango, Colorado in 1994 and established BEST Carpet Cleaning & Disaster Restoration Services, Inc. Recognizing the need for a high quality company dedicated to customer service, Chris quickly dominated the local industry. BEST’s 20 year old reputation continues as proof of the high standards to which all BEST employees hold themselves. Chris’ untimely passing early in the summer of 2013 left his coworkers, friends, and family in shock, but his legacy lives on through the hard work and perseverance of his children who have taken over the family business. Priding themselves on loyalty, integrity, and a commitment to superb customer service, the Rezek family will continue to provide the Four Corners area with the best possible cleaning and disaster restoration services.

Leaving a management position in the personal health industry over 15 years ago, John joined BEST after recognizing a spark for success in founder Chris Rezek’s dedication to the job. Committed to helping the company grow, John took on the general manager role after serving as a loyal employee by first filling all positions in order to better understand each and every process and service offered by BEST. John has built community wide relationships by proving that he values each of his customers and is determined to providing top notch service at every step of the game. He works hard but also enjoys his days off with time at the river, cycling, camping, and testing his wits at trivia nights.
