History

Established in 2010.

Flatrock Solar was starting in Durango Colorado in the spring of 2010. The aim of the company is to bring solar electric systems to the four corners area by making solar easy and affordable. We are able to combine our background in finance and environmental studies to help you reduce your impact on the environment and your checking account! We enjoy bringing straight forward, no hassle solar contracting to the area and are proud to use our solar installations to make a positive impact on the environment and the local economy, one roof at a time.

Matt has been involved in environmental causes since obtaining his Environmental Studies degree from the University of California at Santa Barbara. He had been looking for an opportunity to combine his passion for the environment with his background in finance and the result is Flatrock Solar!
