Our in-​plant cleaning Division, RugMasters of Durango provides in-​plant area rug cleaning for your fine Oriental, Indian, Persian and Native American textiles right here at our Bodo Park cleaning studio.

History

Established in 1994.

UltraSteam has been serving the Four Corners area since 1994.

We are the first (and still only) company to use «Green» cleaning products as our primary cleaners for carpet, stone and tile. These cleaners contain no VOCs or other toxins, as traditional petrochemical cleaners do. We use stronger products in small amounts only for spot removal (and you can choose to skip this step if you prefer) and even those have become steadily safer.

We also rinse the carpet as the final step to remove virtually all detergent residue (including what the last cleaner left behind.) This step ensures a healthier, softer carpet that stays clean longer for you and your family.

A healthy home starts with clean carpet, but doesn’t end there! We also provide clean, efficient air ducts and heating systems with our air duct cleaning, and sparkling clean, shiny hard floors.

Our sister company, RugMasters, can get your fine area rugs cloud-​soft and fluffy again with in-​plant immersion wash cleaning.

Business Owner

I’ve been in the cleaning industry since 1991, and I’ve seen a lot of changes over the years. I started out working in Albuquerque, but soon decided that the big city was not for me, and moved to the Four Corners to start my own business. I lived in Aztec for a few years, then moved to Durango.

I’m an active member the Daybreak Rotary Club and Chamber of Commerce, and we’re a sponsor for the Durango International Film Festival. Additionally, UltraSteam supports many local nonprofits throughout the year, and each October you’ll find me sporting a pink streak in my hair for breast cancer awareness month!

In my spare time I enjoy good coffee, reading, hiking and running with my husky/​shepherd mix, and trips near and far on my motorcycle to explore new wilderness.
