Jake’s is a remarkably honest establishment, as well as being surprisingly upbeat. If you need a transmission place, you are already having a bad day. Frank — the guy I worked with — has a great «bedside manner.» I don’t imagine it’s easy for him when he has to tell people bad news. He did an excellent job of helping me understand my car’s problem, and what solutions Jake’s has to offer. Also, the office is very homey, and my two kids (4 and 6) enjoyed looking over the extensive collection of toy cars, instead of being exposed to the televisions that are so ubiquitous in auto-​related establishments. I found Jake’s from a reference by the good and honest folks at Lonnie’s Auto Repair. 10 of 10, I recommend the business wholeheartedly.
