Jessica Arden T.

Business Owner

I have been taking photographs for as long as I can remember. I started in the darkroom at the Durham School of the Arts, I received a Bachelors of Science in Technical Photography from Appalachian State University and I have now been working as a professional photographer since 2007. I spent three years in the Washington, D.C. area photographing weddings and working at a portrait studio. Most recently, I worked as the Senior Associate Photographer for Tamara Lackey Photography.

My work has been featured in Carolina Parent, Our State Magazine, Chapel Hill Magazine, Durham Magazine, the Clarion Content and Endurance. My photography has also been featured on ABC’s Extreme Makeover: Home Edition and my fine art photography has been displayed in solo shows in North Carolina, Maryland & Oklahoma. I love to photograph happy people, beautiful light, gorgeous details and the truth is, I still tear up at every wedding I photograph.

Jessi is an amazing photographer and works so fluidly with her clients. She’s able to capture the beauty of the moment whether the occasion is just a family hangout photo day or a dreamy wedding to be cherished forever. I have known her for a long time; long enough to watch her as a passionate high school student, a driven undergrad with a professional eye, and now as a full-​blown enthusiastic professional who truly loves her job and working with her clients.
