Nix Golf Carts is a niche from Nix Upholstery, which has served central NC for over 50 years and still counting. Although Nix Golf Carts is fairly new, Michael Nix, (owner) has earned the trust of his clients for over 40 years with Nix Upholstery. «I understand that I work for my Clients, and that they are MY boss». Kris Nix worked for Nix Upholstery through his school years. He came back after serving on the USS Ashland for four years in the US Navy. After Michael and Kris earned their factory training with Club Car and EZ-​Go Golf Cars Kris became the service manager of NGC. His knowledge and creative customizing themes have made him a household name in countless neighborhoods where the Golf Cart is more than just transportation… it is a statement.

Business Owner

Michael worked for his father who started Nix Upholstery in 1963 for 19 years before becoming the owner upon the retirement of his father in 1992. He still runs that company today. With over 40 years in a family business, Michael fully understands the importance of quality products, fair pricing and the most important thing, stand behind your product.

He tends to shy away from the term «guarantee» as he feels there is no guarantee better

than the person themselves, that you chose to deal with. He gives the best price he can, but believes the cheapest can many times be the highest.
