Says they open at 930am yet I walk up and they are closed. I decided to call and they advised me they open at 10am. Nuff said!!!

The manager, Thomas, was able to answer all of my cell phone questions without even checking — he had all the prices, plans and features memorized. There are like 100 phones in there and he knew EVERYTHING. It’s really nice to be able to go to one store and shop for phones from Verizon, AT&T, Sprint and other brands all at once, rather than going to each individual store. I listed off the features and plan specs that I wanted and Thomas gave me several options that would meet my needs. After I picked a plan, he had a lot of trouble porting my phone number over from my old plan because they had recently changed the system but he stuck with it. I expected at some point he would just give up and say«The system won’t let me port your old number, you have to get a new one» but he didn’t — he kept troubleshooting until it worked.

Dreadful. One overworked person attempting to provide service to one person while eight wait. I am surprised Radio Shack remains in business.

I needed some cables for our projector, basically I was looking for a/v extension cables(you know, those cables with the red and yellow ends that you hook up to your DVD player, etc). So I thought Radio Shack would be a great place to pick these up. I was wrong. They didn’t have them! Half the store is devoted to selling cell phones. The employees were really helpful and looked for me, but they didn’t have what I needed. Really, what’s the point of Radio Shack if they don’t have basic home entertainment cables?
