make you feel welcomed and important. They are very professional and caring.

Sam and Sia are great!!! This is my second time here and I am so beyond pleased with everything. Brought my hubby to get pedicures. Last time I had Sam this time Sia and both are great! Clean environment. Great service. Will definitely be back again.

Walked in this place there were two men sitting doing nothing and the lady asked what I need I told her a pedicure and a manicure. She said sorry were booked for the rest of the day! There was one customer in the entire nail salon at 2 o’clock in the afternoon! Don’t go here if you don’t have an appointment! Maybe they don’t take walk ins but it doesn’t say that! Oh well!

Sia and Sam are the cutest nail couple! They finished the last client timely for our appointment, and they were super patient with us even though we took a while to choose our colors and they had to work well over the closing hour. They are extremely easygoing and funny to chat with. The massage chair was amazing (even has thigh massage option!). We had basic mani+pedi and the service is great. There was a good selection of OPI polish that are in good conditions. The price is super reasonable. I am definitely coming back and am actually planning to take my mom here too!

I’m new to the area and visited Ruby based on other reviews. I get my nails done regularly and have never had a manicure as good as the one I got here. My nails were shaped perfectly and the gel polish lasted 3 weeks before I removed it due to nail regrowth. No chipping whatsoever. The gentleman who did my manicure was very attentive to detail and took pride in his work. Not your typical salon that rushes you in and out as fast as they can, would definitely recommend!

I had the best experience today at Ruby Nails. Sam and Sia are wonderful. They were fun to talk to, so careful and attentive, and provided an amazing pedicure. They really took their time and made sure that we were satisfied. I did not feel rushed at all. I swear I left with a new pair of feet!
I would highly recommend and will be back!

I got a mani/​pedi done at Ruby Nails for a wedding and I was extremely pleased. Sia and Sam are so funny it makes getting your nails done so much fun! Sia did a great job and I will definitely be back next time I need my nails done!

The husband and wife duo who work at and run this place are really sweet and funny! They made me and my friends experience here really enjoyable and had us laughing the whole time. Not to mention they did a FABULOUS job on both of us! I’ll definitely be back next time I need a pedi!

Went to Ruby Nails for a gel manicure before a cruise. The husband and wife team are the cutest. The service there is fantastic. They are very personable and don’t make you feeI awkward while sitting for a while. I went at an off time, so I didn’t have to wait at all. My manicure looks perfect, and she even added another top coat because she knew I would be adventuring and in the water a lot. Price was very fair for the quality, at $ 30. I will definitely come back the next time I want to get my mani or pedi done.

I visited Ruby Nail Spa for the first time today. Thankfully, they weren’t busy and could take me as a walk-​in, as this is a business run by an amazingly adorable couple! Yes, they are the only two who work here!
They are tucked into a busy shopping center, but you are instantly transformed upon walking inside where they have made it a tranquil place to relax and get pampered.
I got a full acrylic set which was only $ 35, and I have to say I have honestly never been more pleased with my nails. I was there for a pretty long time, which was a blessing! Make sure you’re prepared to be there for a while as the care, consideration, and meticulousness with which my nails were paid attention to was well worth the time spent. My full set came out beautiful and honestly these nails look like they are my own. She spent a lot of time making sure the acrylic did not go on thick and really made sure that each edge of my nail was thoroughly painted — they look so natural I can hardly believe (until i try to type, haha!) that I got them done.
I highly recommend you come here. Treat yourself right!

I was so happy with my first experience at Ruby Nails yesterday. They were on time for my appointment and did a great job with my gel manicure. It’s a smaller operation, just a husband and wife so walking in would probably be difficult if you are on a time crunch. Also, they had much fewer color selections for polish, both gel and regular, than some salons. But the quality of work and price are excellent and will keep me coming back! So glad to find a place that is so well priced ($ 30 for gel manixure) and such good quality.

I cannot say enough great things about Sam and his wife. They are so kind and friendly, but most importantly they do a really great job. Sam takes his time and makes sure to give each customer the BEST care that he can. He also gave me tips on how to continually care for my skin. No other nail salon that I’ve been to took the time to make sure my nails were done right, instead just pushed me out the door to fill another seat. If you’re looking for a speedy place, this might not be the best place for you, but in my opinion, slow and detail oriented is what I want. It is also only the two of them working there so it’s in everyone’s best interest to CALL AHEAD to make an appointment.
This was my first time at Ruby Nails and is now my go to spot.

After trying a few other nail care facilities in Durham I began to feel as if it was impossible to get a decent pedicure. Then we tried Ruby Nails. Great service! Great results!
As stated by another reviewer, this shop seems to be run by a wife/​husband team. It might be best to give them a call before you show up or make an appointment. The pedicures are quite thorough. Highly recommended.

Monday-​Wednesday pedicures are $ 25 and $ 28 on thurs-​Sunday. Darn it. I’m here on a Thursday:/.
The husband and wife are the only ones working so there may be a wait, but I came when it wasn’t busy and they got started on me within 5 minutes of when I arrived.
The wife is very thorough. She used the cheese grater to make sure she could get all the dead skin from my feet and even went in between and on top of my toes!
She’s very gentle with her foot massages. I wouldn’t have minded if she did it with a bit more force… But totally not a biggie.
Overall, pleased with my pedicure!

What a gem! I was in town overnight on business and badly needed a pedicure. I picked this salon based on other Unilocal reviews and was not disappointed. It is clean, quiet and not stinky like other nail places I have visited. I would definitely come here again.

The owners of this place are sooooo sweet and did an excellent, thorough job on our mani pedis. They were very entertaining as well! Would definitely recommend this place to anyone. Prices are fair, the salon is very clean and nicely decorated!

I tried this spot on a recommendation from a friend and it was an overall good experience. There was what appeared to be a husband and wife team on hand when I came into the salon without an appointment, but they quickly got me started so they could also get to their appointments.
I got a basic french manicure and I thought overall that it was really well done. The one negative is that I think it would have looked better with a second coat of white polish, but I will just ask for that next time. My french manicure lasted almost a week without chipping! Pretty good. Place seemed clean, but they looked like they were doing some minor construction projects while open.
