History

Established in 2009.

The King’s Daughters Inn began a new chapter of its history in April 2009, after being transformed into a seventeen room boutique Bed & Breakfast. Built in the 1920’s with funds donated by the Duke family, The King’s Daughters Home provided dormitory-style housing for single, aging women. After closing its doors in 2006, new owners Colin and Deanna Crossman marshaled the 17,000 square foot building through an extensive green renovation to create the luxurious inn that stands here today.

Meet the Manager

Denel P.

Manager

The King’s Daughters Inn, an adaptive reuse of an amazing 1925’s building to a Bed and Breakfast, with a myriad of green technologies, making it luxurious as well as harmonious with the environment. This was the goal of the Owners, Deanna and Colin C. The couple have a new project going, The Mayton Inn, in Cary, NC, so handed the reins of the King’s Daughters Inn to Denel P to act as the General Manager and Event Coordinator. She loves working with people and strives to make each visitor feel completely pampered, from the pillow-like beds, Port and Chocolates at turn down, to the made to order breakfasts in the mornings, everyone becomes a VIP!
