Holliday Bookkeeping Services provides accounting services to small business owners so that those owners can focus their time on growing their business and increasing their profits.

I will provide you with the framework of accounts to help you best measure your success and areas where improvement is needed to help your business be successful. Your books will be kept up to date and you will receive monthly financial reports to help guide you and your business. Instead of spending your valuable time on the nuts and bolts of business bookkeeping, you can spend your time analyzing the results and adjusting key factors for long term success.

History

Established in 2011.

Holliday Bookkeeping Services was founded by Georgene Jones in December of 2011.

Georgene has had an interesting and varied career in healthcare after earning a bachelor’s degree from Eastern Washington University in 1990. After fifteen years in the role of Executive Director in skilled nursing facilities, Georgene made the decision to change direction and start her own company.

After being accepted into the Accounting program and Lake Washington Institute for Technology, she earned her QuickBooks certification and has maintained a grade point average of 4.0 for all coursework.

After graduating, Georgene started serving small businesses in the supporting role of accountant and bookkeeper. Georgene inspiration for starting her own business began when she started doing the books for a small business in 2007 as a part time activity and she found that she loved it.

I moved to Duvall, WA in 1997 to start a career in healthcare as an Executive Director of a skilled nursing facility. After nearly fifteen years in healthcare, I decided to start my own company and do what I love every day. My husband is the manager at the local Safeway and my children both attended Cedarcrest High School a few blocks from my home. I love living in the valley and I look forward to serving the small business in our area.
