Red Pepper Pizzeria

On multiple occasions, Red Pepper Pizza has gone above and beyond just a plain ol’ pizzeria.
We have an autistic child in our family, and his diet is limited because of this. Having gluten and dairy free pizza options can be at times, a true life saver when we need to think of our dinner menu and are running dry on options or creativity. Also, they have catered to our specific need of having 15 slices of pepperoni on his pizza without any fuss or question. If anyone knows autism, then you know that you need to have details exactly like they want them, or it could be the end of their world as they know. This is one of those details that, it doesn’t matter if we dine in or ask for delivery, this is never missed.
Red Pepper Pizza was the first meal we had, on the living room floor, with paper towels and red solo cups, the first night we moved into our house here in Duvall. We make it a tradition every year on that date to have Red Pepper Pizza. But Red Pepper Pizza is too good to have just once a year.
Thank you so much for providing excellent service, quality ingredients for your amazing dishes, and being so accommodating to your town. We love you for it.

Good pizza and friendly people. We love the meatball subs. Responsive owners. We love small businesses and will continue to support them.

A great small local pizza place with a good home town vibe about it. Its nothing fancy, just good food ran by good local people. Try the grinders as well!

Pizza is really good but the little things count. Pizza not cut all the way. Call in orders placed under the wrong people’s names (when you show up to pick up «we don’t have a pizza under your name»). Waiting for a take out pizza at a table and it sits cold until they figure out you are waiting to pick it up «oh we didn’t know you were here» but I paid for it 15 minutes ago in person. These things are OK as a one off but consistent issues like this with no apologies is pretty lame.

Red Pepper Pizza was just what we needed after a bike ride on the Snoqualmie Valley Trail. We rode from Carnation to Duvall with our kids and my parents. Everyone was hungry by the time we arrived. Pizza sounded like a winner and Red Pepper did not disappoint.
The food was great. We ordered two pizzas and two of my kids had spaghetti with meatballs. The breadsticks were delish and just what we needed while we waited since everyone was starving. The pizza crust was superb and the toppings all seemed fresh and better than what you would get at a chain. There were no complaints from any of us.
They have outdoor seating so on nice days you can sit outside… or if you happen to have your dog with you and are wondering what to do with him the outdoor seating might be an option.
Anyway, the food was great and we will definitely be back!

Duvall would be best served with another pizza joint in town… There needs to be competition… Only eat red pepper cuz it’s the only one… They have zero service skills when u come in and eat… and their specialty pizzas are nothing to write home about.

Delicious pizza, just the right amount of sauce. Crust was soft and tasted heavenly! The employees were very accommodating. There was plenty of outside seating and I loved that because it was a perfect spring afternoon sit outside and enjoy the beauty of Duvall! Overall great experience and when I’m in the area again I’ll definitely go again!

Decided to look on Unilocal for a non chain pizza place close to my Dad’s house (and where I grew up). Found it here, pizza is excellent, wings are good, bread sticks were awesome, takeout service is great. Order and ready to pick up in 15 minutes. Place is family owned and seems to be staffed by a bunch of teenagers, they do a good job. Prices are a little high but worth the extra few bucks compared to other options. Only complaint is the toppings on my last pizza were not really distributed evenly. If the folks running the place can get the teens to take some time and work on that a bit it would make things a little better. I was thinking 4 stars but I am going to 5, for a small town in Western Washington they are doing it right.

Yum! We stopped by here on our way back from hiking. We got breadsticks and pizza. All super good. Breadsticks are to die for. We couldn’t finish it all so took it back home. The pizza was good even a day later.

Well it has now been 30 minutes since according to the staff that my pizza left the store. Still not here. You can imagine how cold it will be since being out there that long. Poor customer service even when calling in.

Ordered online. Got the wrong pizza. Manager refused to fix it, insisted the order was created as ordered. The part of the order that was correct was good. Manager was just rude.

Used to love their crust. But something changed. It wasn’t cooked all the way, it was weird and chewy and looked awful. Waste of money.

ordering online is so easy (+ discount for doing so) and when picking up my order, the customer servcie was prompt and courteous. We ordered the meat pizza, bread sticks, mac & cheese w/​bacon and meatball speg. ALL delicious. Will definitely be ordering from this place again.

In Duvall for work. Dropped in for lunch. Small cute place. I came in at 1. Lunch rush was over. I won’t lie, I was disappointed on my per slice options: pepperoni, Hawaiian and cheese. Grabbed a piece of pep and Hawaiian. I was not disappointed on the taste. Yum yum yum — nice and garlicky. Great job. I’ll be back.

Most things we’ve ordered from them so far are pretty good. The reason for 3 stars is because they charge a delivery fee and I literally live 2 blocks away. The pizza price is also higher than other places. Also, like other reviews have stated, there’s never enough sauce for their break sticks or cheese sticks. I would give them a 3.5 if I could.

Great pizza! That’s the best thing u can say about a pizzeria to sum it up ! Their pizza has a very home made taste to it ! Love the sauces they use on the southwestern and the garlic ! Have ordered twice from them and was satisfied ! Great service as well!

Strangely, I’ve never had a bad pizza or dining experience at Red Pepper, (some of the reviews give the impression that it’s hit or miss). Here’s what I get: Once a month I order 2 large pizzas (one cheese, one pep) for local delivery. Once, and only once, they screwed up, over the course of, hmm… Tosho-​Con 2 was the year I started ordering so… about 3 years? Every so often I swing by for lunch and snag a slice of pizza and a coke. Talk about a great deal! The slices are huge, the pizza is good (I get either Hawaiian or pep), the soda is refillable, and the staff has always been nice to me.
I also appreciate the way they let you use their boxes for advertising local events: school, library, etc. They’ll even tape your flyers onto the boxes for you!

I really wanted to like this place based on all of the reviews I’ve read, but my experience was just not very good at all. The bread sticks were drenched in oil, waaaay too much parmesan, and no where near enough marinara for the breadsticks you’re given.
The salad was pretty good, but don’t go for the Italian dressing, because it’s got a lot of acidity to it… it’ll get a reaction out of you and it will spoil your salad.
The pizza. I should have taken a picture of it. It was mostly crust and not very much of anything. Literally.
You couldn’t really tell if there was anything on there except for some sauce. I think I ate like 4 pieces of meat and the rest was just oil. It looked like a 4 year was learning to make pizza in some classroom even and this was their first pizza – no joke.
The middle of the pie was so thin, it disintegrated when you tried picking up a piece. There was very little meat… I think it was sauce and maybe some cheese, honestly I don’t know what I ate… so I ended up just eating the crust, which was the only good thing about the pizza.
There would have to be significant changes for me to come back or recommend, in fact I’ve already told my friends to not try this place. I’m sorry, I really wanted to love this place because I LOVE pizza. I guess whoever made my pizza was having a bad day. :(

While the prices on their lunch specials are pretty cheap, the pizza itself is not that great. They’ve also forgotten a few things in our orders, so… yeah.

I was visiting someone in carnation and we decided to have pizza delivered. The local pizza places were closed and red pepper was the next closest. We gave them our address and our order and were told to expect about 40 minutes. Not exaggerating, we get a call 30 minutes later that it will be ready in 30 minutes and that we need to drive half way to meet the driver since it’s out of their delivery zone. Having this information from the start would be fine, but being told this after paying for the pizza and waiting for half an hour is unacceptable.
EDIT: As you can see, Lorna has posted a very helpful and sincere response to my review. She handled it like a pro, but I probably will not be ordering from RPP again, just because it is outside of my area. If it were in a better location for me, then I would definitely give them another shot.
