This is specifically for the Lost Spur Bar and Grill. They have amazing sandwiches and burgers — flavorful and fresh. They also make their own chips — hot and crispy. No bells and whistles to the service, just a low key place with good food.

Played for the first time today. Tough course to play the first time, quite a few blind shots. Course is short and forces you to hit many different clubs from the tee. Lots of trees and a bit narrow. Greens were in good shape as well as the fairways. My only knock is some holes did not have 150yd marker forcing me to guess distance. Overall had a good time and will play again.

Course is a good play, good for intermediates or beginners like myself. A ‘quick’ 9 hole for me is 2 hours at this point, and that is if I’m not taking my time. The staff is good– they have been willing to work with me. In fact, it is SO good I plan on buying a membership. The course itself is challenging, with some easy and some hard holes. Feel free to message me if you want more details on the holes. The reason I give it 4 stars is just because I tend to shy away from 5 stars unless it really takes my breath away.

I usually go to Fort Snelling G.C. for a shorter round(I think it’s a par 35), but this turned out to be a great alternative. The course has a good amount of elevation change on a few of the holes and offers fantastic views of the Minnesota River Valley. Downsides? A few of the tee boxes were in rough shape. The course is also under a landing route for planes coming into MSP, so hopefully you don’t get nervous playing in front of a brief audience. I definitely plan on playing here again!

It feels like they are trying to make some improvements here. Club house is nice. The course however, still is in bad shape. The greens are rough, fairways need much help… overall it was an «ok» experience. I can’t wait to see what they do with this place in a next few seasons. Could be 5 stars soon!

This was our destination for a friend’s wedding the other night and it was quite the hike from our stomping ground in Uptown. Nonetheless, we found this little golf club nestled back of the highway(one light away from the Lloyd’s BBQ plant… yum!) in almost complete seclusion. The staff, when we encountered them was super nice. Especially when they offered a golf cart ride from the parking lot to the venue, saving me an uphill walk in my awesome heels. Thank goodness! As we walked in, we were immediately in the midst of wedding festivities. Knowing we were a tad late, we though not much of it. Until we checked the table assignment sheet and could not find our names. As the Beau quickly went into to damage control, assuring me that he did RSVP, I surveyed the crowd. I didn’t see a single familiar face. Suddenly, I saw the bride. Now I was sure we were in the wrong place, because this was definitely NOT our friend. A quick glance to the television screen on the wall solved the mystery. We were downstairs. The Beau was cleared of all suspected wrong doing. :) Overall, the place was modest, but nice. They did a great job with the wedding and the décor considering there was a wedding on both levels of the golf club. A popular destination apparently! Can’t think of a reason to visit again unless I receive a proper invitation, but I’m sure the golfing is good!
