Great customer service until you purchase your dress.
My consultant, Audrey was amazing and super helpful at my very first appointment. I ended up purchasing my dress on the same day and offered to pay for more than half of my dress as well. When my dress arrived, Audrey unzipped my dress from the bag and showed me my dress. She did not extend an offer for me to try on the dress. This was very disappointing because I paid extra for the dress size and hem. I had to ask her if I can try it on, she shrugged and said, «sure, we can try it on really quick». I would not have taken offense to her statement if there were other appointments going on, however, there was literally no customers in the shop. I became very annoyed because Audrey somehow misplaced her customer service and was unwilling to help me. I mean, what bride would not want to try on their wedding dress when they’ve waited for over five months? Plus, it’s not like the dress was a floor sample, I ordered the dress brand new.
The back of my dress was ordered with the lace up back and when I asked if she can show my friend how to do it, her reply was, «oh, it’s super easy». And that was all she said. I had to practically raise my voice from the fitting room to have my friend come in to see how it was done. Sure, I thought, it’s easy for you because you do this on the daily for your job, but sorry, we don’t lace dresses up every day like you. However, I was respectful and held my tongue and did not say this to her.
Overall, I love my dress but my dress was also sold at two different bridal shops in the cities. No, I would not recommend this place to you because as a bride myself, they were unwilling to help me once I paid for my dress. Sadly, they immediately lost their customer service after I purchased my dress. #fakeweddingconsultants

I went here because i’m 5′ 11 and size 12 and normal shopping isn’t easy. I had experiences at bridal shoppe on grand and they were depressing. I went there for bridesmaid dresses because I thought there would be more selection but that was mistaken. We felt like cattle being herded and so often they said «oh we have one size so nothing else». It was horrible and some of my bridesmaids went away feeling bad and that is not something I wanted. I booked appointments at luxe for a couple who couldn’t find dresses and wish I had in the first place. Luxe was amazing and provides realistic options!

The selection and service were second to none. They made trying on bridal gowns one of my favorite things I’ve ever done. Very private, more dresses than you could ever try on in one appointment. Exceptionally knowledgable sales staff. I said «yes to the dress» here, and I recommend you make an appointment here as well!

This review is so late, but I think it still needs to be written. I bought my dress their old location, but still, it’s a great place.
Long ago when my sister got married a whole gaggle of us went trying on dresses. When I mean a whole gaggle I mean 9 people, which is just too many for this introvert. We’re prancing around the big box store, people are crying and ringing bells and it just wasn’t my scene. After that I vowed if I ever got married, I’d only take my mom dress shopping.
So, I’d been engaged for almost 6 months and still had a year before the big day before we went to Luxe. We walk in — it’s quiet, it’s serene and peaceful and I love it. I was actually really dreading dress shopping since I“m over a size 12 and understand a street 12 isn’t a bridal 12.
I brought in a photo of what I thought I wanted, but really left it up to the consultant, Nikki, to guide me. She picked out 9 dresses all of which zipped up unlike other places, I came out of the dressing room in 7 and whittled it down to 2. She was so patient with wishy-​washy me himming and hawing about what I really wanted, but I found the dress I wanted. I didn’t have to ring a bell or have a bunch of fanfare. It was a very pleasant experience.
We bought it in November and it was ready in March. They held on to the dress until it was time for alterations in September.
Oh, and someone said I looked like a Greek Goddess in my Allure gown from Luxe. That’s not a term I’ve ever been called, but darn it, I will remember that forever.
I’ve sent 2 other people to Luxe and they’ve enjoyed their experiences as well. Make an appointment you will not be disappointed!

A $ 230 custom-​made dress should not have zipper problems. It should not have ANY problems. I needed three people to help me zip my bridesmaids dress, and that was after Luxe had looked at it again. Taking it off at the end of the night resulted in the whole zipper breaking apart — I’m really glad that didn’t happen earlier during the ceremony, pictures, or the reception! The dress is unwearable now.
The bride’s dress had zipper issues, too, but I’ll let her write her own review.
I am not impressed. I will not be buying any dresses from here again. Terrible quality.

If you are a plus size bride do yourself a favor and go to Luxe! my party and I drove 2 hours to go there but oh was is worth it. The staff is so warm and welcoming and there are so many beautiful gowns to choose from. I tried another large shop in St. Paul but the service and selection in my size was pitiful. I turned right around and went back to Luxe for my dream dress. I can’t say enough good things about my experience at Luxe.

Nice to go to a store with sample dresses that actually fit real women!
Beautiful designs and the very latest styles. A little on the pricey side in my opinion, but the specific attention they give to each bride, and the incredibly knowledgable staff make for an enjoyable experience.

I bought a dress at Luxe in August 2014 for my March 2015 wedding.
Luxe really lived up to the reviews and my expectations of what wedding dress shopping should feel like. I had tried on dresses at 3 stores in the Philly area prior to Luxe and had mediocre to bad experiences both in service and selection of dresses that I was able to try on as a plus-​size bride, even though I’d called ahead to verify that there would be dresses in my size and the styles i was interested in.
When i came back to the midwest to visit family I made an appointment at Luxe not sure if it would be any better, but was thrilled and excited to find a lovely establishment that made me and my family feel comfortable and offered an amazing selection of gorgeous dresses. My stylist was great — she really understood what I was looking for and my desire to feel comfortable and not too over-​the-​top, while still feeling bridal. I wound up leaving after my first appointment not quite ready to commit, but within a month I’d booked another appointment and bought my dress at Luxe.
The service didn’t end there though — as an out of town bride I was happy with their on-​going communication, including notifying me when the dress arrived and when it was shipped to me. The dress arrived here in great condition and I can’t wait to wear it. Luxe really epitomized providing both great products and great service to their brides.

Dress shopping at Luxe was amazing!!! I was not looking forward to this experience at all but the employees there made me feel incredibly comfortable and welcome. They were also very supportive of my desire to feel like ‘me’ in a wedding dress and not necessarily go with the traditional wedding gown. They were super patient as I tried on tons and tons of dresses and spent too much time with my mother obsessing over colors. My stylist was so supportive and kept reminding me that I should get what I wanted and what I felt best in. She was also so friendly and kind and a delight to spend time with! It is a very strange and intimate experience (as they dress you and all), but she made it absolutely lovely.
Plus I found an amazing dress and veil.
Plus the cupcakes were delicious!

Luxe is so great. It caters to «bigger» sized women, which only means anyone who is about a size 12 and bigger, which is crazy that that’s what the world calls big but I digress. Luxe has lovely dresses that are quite big, and then they use clamps to fit it to your shape and holy cow– every thing I wanted accented was and everything I wanted hidden was as well! The owner was my assistant and she was great– so friendly and great at adapting to what I did and didn’t like. The dresses are in the normal price range got everywhere else, and I just think the boutique experience is SO great, and the fact that I didn’t feel like I had to squeeze I to dresses made the day so great.
