I have always wanted to live there.
Just because of the name.

Just the sound of it rings on your tongue. .. so much more romantic than Smithville, or St. Louis or New York.

The Village of Eagle Nest is located in the northern end of the Moreno Valley — — the gateway to the Enchanted Circle. A recreation and scenic paradise.
* Angel Fire, Red River and Taos Ski Resorts are part of the Circle.
* Wheeler Peak, 13,161′ — smack dab in the middle of the Enchanted Circle.
* Eagle Nest Lake — a fisherman’s dream. Filled with kokanee & coho salmon, cutthroat & rainbow trout.
Too much stuff going on, you say. Too many tourists. Crowded.
NOT ON YOUR LIFE. .. this beautiful little high mountain Village of EAGLE NEST has a population. .. . are you ready? A population of just 298. Two hundred and ninety-​eight.
I have always wanted to live in Eagle Nest — ever since I was a wee one.
