Oh who doesn’t love a great facial! Why don’t I go more often?! This tiny, charming spa offers a very professional, very soothing facial that was customized to my needs. And I didn’t leave looking like my face is been abused!
They offer and use natural, organic products. How great is that! They also have lots of small treats or gifts.
This business has been owned and operated by a beautiful women named Tanis for about 11 years. Can’t believe it’s been here so long. You’ll be jealous of her skin but it gives you hope!

Love this place! Neddy gave me the best facial. I have a hard time managing my sensitive, acne prone skin and Neddy worked with me to provide the perfect, customized facial. Also the products they use are pure bliss. I can’t wait to go back!

This place is a perfect oasis to come and be pampered. Their products are awesome and the staff is so attentive and knowledgeable. Highly recommend. I feel like a million bucks. Smells delicious in there as well. :)

The Garden Spa’t is tucked away on busy Colorado Blvd in a small, cozy and relaxing environment. Leaving the chaos and heat of Eagle Rock, I arrived for my facial appointment with Ava. The spa was tastefully decorated and offered a pleasant zen-​like environment for relaxing and getting pampered. Ava had me fill out some forms to best understand my skin and to see what my skincare needs are. I opted to try microdermabrasion and see what all the fuss is about coupled with a facial treatment. Ava first started off by asking me questions about my skin and what my concerns were. I told her I have these blackheads on my chin I can seem to never get rid of and just wanted some anti-​aging tips. She first started off by washing my face in a slow and gentle manner, which was very relaxing. Then she used an in-​house mint-​exfoliator to enliven and awaken my pores. This felt so amazing on a hot day! Then she began the microdermabrasion treatment and explained how it works. Basically its a small hand tool that has a suction tip with a mini-​sander at the end. The tip is made of diamond filaments, which sounds like it would be way too rough on your skin, but in fact it just feels like very like tiny, mouse scratches on your skin, coupled with a small vacuum action. Ava told me that my skin would be a little sensitive to sun for the next 48 hours and that my skin might be a little red and tight, but it would wear off. Then she did some extractions (ick!) but she had the most gentle hand and was not overly rough or aggressive. I’ve had some facialists make my face look like I stuck my head in a bee hive, so thankfully, I wasn’t a huge red face when I left. Then she used a arnica mask which felt so nice after the extraction phase and then massaged my arms and hands waiting for the mask to set. Lastly, she used a strawberry rhubarb hyaluronic acid serum mixed with a tropical vanilla SPF day cream. Overall, it was just a pleasant and relaxing experience it was definitely one of the best facials I have every had. After the microdermabrasion, my skin looked and felt amazing! It is definitely worth the experience and you get amazing results. Ava recommended to come in for microdermabrasion once a month to help provide cell renewal and remove dead skin cells from your skin.
The spa uses Eminence skincare, which is an organic skincare line from Hungary. They also make their own in-​house brand of products as well which was carefully crafted by the owner, who is a Chemist and is passionate about organic skincare. I love Eminence products and the Garden Spa’t’s brand because they smell great, they are organic, and they are effective. I purchased the Garden Spa’t’s foaming face wash that Ava used and bought some sandalwood body soap. Ava also used the Eminence Stone Crop Hydrating Mist as a toner and used the Coconut firming body cream for the massage. Ava said the wonderful mint exfoliator will be available soon for their big roll out, so I’m looking forward to when that product becomes available.
Overall Ava provided excellent service, she was extremely knowledgeable about the products/​recommendations/​skincare, and the environment was inviting. The spa also offers other treatments like light stim, which sounds like another way to promote cell renewal and collagen boosting. I highly recommend this place. Get pampered!

I had my first facial here today with Margo. She was super attentive and helpful with my skin concerns. Margo was very gentle and even the extractions didn’t hurt! I left feeling relaxed and moisturized! Thank you Margo!

I came in (late!) for my appointment from a hot and hectic day, and within 5 minutes I was cooled down, hydrated, laying under a cool sheet in darkened room with relaxing music playing! The Garden Spa’T is a true oasis. And Tanis was so warm, friendly and knowledgeable, I knew instantly that I was in great hands.
The treatment itself was pure luxury; you can really smell and feel the high quality of the products used, and the treatment was clearly being given by a true pro! The whole time, I kept thinking to myself, «Why don’t I do this on a regular basis?!?» and decided to do just that.
Afterwards, I was given an Earth Day gift (!) and Tanis showed me all the discounts/​specials that are offered through their newsletter and/​or Facebook.

Every time I walk out of the Garden Spa’t I feel rejuvenated, pampered and relaxed. No one does a facial like Tanis does. Their schedule is flexible. I like that I can go when it’s convenient for me after work. I will continue to come back.

From the moment I walked in here I feel incredibly relaxed; the scents, sounds and overall atmosphere is so calming. I have very sensitive skin and normally leave facials with extremely red and irritated skin. This is the only place I’ve been to where that is not the issue. I’ve had custom facials by Tanis and Neddy (so?) and they’ve both been beyond wonderful. I love how they explain which natural ingredients they are using and what they do. Overall a great experience and I would definitely recommend this place to anyone.

I’m so glad I set up an appointment here! Tanis scheduled an appointment with Neddy for my first visit. I have sensitive/​acne prone skin and these last months with stress and strange LA weather, my skin was not having it.
Neddy was so gentle and welcoming! It truly was a customized facial. She deep cleaned my skin and performed LED light and high frequency treatment to help with my active breakouts which were really inflamed. If I had to measure the inflammation, they probably went down by 80%! I’m so impressed and relieved.

I had a not so great first experience at the Garden Spa’T due to some issues like scheduling and payment, which weren’t related to the quality of the service I received. However, when I reached out to Tanis, the owner, she went above and beyond to address my concerns. She clearly cares about her customers and their experience at her salon. She was able to rectify the issues that I had encountered, and also invited me back for a complimentary facial which was more than generous. The facial that Tanis gave me was absolutely one of the best I’ve had, and I love all the products she uses. I also bought some of the products she sells and I’ve been enjoying using them at home as well. The Garden Spa’T has excellent customer service and great treatments, and I will be coming back regularly.

The Garden Spa’T is a great place, a hidden gem. I was introduced by a friend, took advantage of new customer deal on Unilocal and have been coming ever since. The estheticians are great, social and know skin care. Been getting custom facials with Jennifer, she is really cool. Highly recommended this place.

This review is on customer service. I’ve been trying to get an appointment with Tianis but due to my non 9 – 5 schedule, she could not accommodate me so she referred me to Jennifer. I made an appointment with Jennifer a week later. Two hours before I come in, I received a text stating she was sick. I asked if anyone can see me that day, but she said everyone is gone for Thanksgiving holiday (it was Tuesday).
Hmmm.
Doesn’t even try to reschedule me.

I love this place! It’s almost an hour drive for me but I do so gladly knowing I’ll have the most amazing facial ever. I’ve been to several other places for facials and they don’t come close. I’ve have the organic custom facial and not only did my skin look amazing it was such an amazi ng experience for my senses. The beautiful scents of fruit throughout its entirety was the absolute cherry on top. I recommend this place to everyone. Also you can buy their products in their boutique shop along with other things like lamps and soaps.

I started going here about 4 years ago. Tannis did my first 2 facials and I loved it. Neddy now does my facials and she’s just as great. My skin has really cleared but what I love the most is my face doesn’t look bloated and beat up when I walk out. I could seriously go on a date right after these facials. I love this place and wouldn’t go anywhere else. I absolutely, hands down recommend this place

I’ve been getting facials here once a month for at least 2 years. My skin looks and feels great, and I am so happy to have found an organic spa close to me. They carry Eminence products, and have their own line which is also great! I love the honey almond facial scrub, and once you try their chapstick, you will never use another!

I have received several cellulite treatments from Mary Ascension Saulnier over the Summer. She used cupping as well as red LED lights and then coated my thighs with a mixture she herself created which felt very spicy and tonic. She then wrapped me in plastic foil and bandages. My legs’ appearance improved quite a bit and I am returning for more for maintenance!

I love the Garden Spa’t! It’s so cute. I got a great facial from Jennifer. I’ll definitely be back! I also like the fact it’s like a little boutique. They carry lots of different beauty products and also jewelry and gifts!

The garden Spa’T is the best place ever, almost like being at a retreat. Had a much needed Devine facial with Neddy today. I wish I could afford to go there weekly. Can’t wait for my next onelove them. Tannis and Jennifer and Neddy are all so awesome and their products can only be described as the ultimate in skin care and smell delicious.

Tucked up stairs of a beautifully restored Craftsman is an oasis of pampering.
This isn’t one of those institutional spas, but a custom relaxing place to enjoy your services, be treated like a VIP and have the BEST products used on your skin. Fortunately the owner, Tanis also has services done and knows what is expected from a client’s perspective and gives excellent customer service. Her staff is equally conscientious and I’ve had facials, waxing and eyelash extensions here. I’ve been a loyal customer for years and the Open House sales are great. Perfect place to pick up a gift for yourself or a friend. Excellent products, I love the soy candles & custom Garden Spa’t lotions and Eminence facial products from Hungary.

I was on the look out for a new esthetician and I discovered this place through Unilocal.I was a bit skeptical at first because of all the bad experiences I’ve had but after my experience with Jennifer I was reassured that she was going to help me with my skin needs. She’s amazing at what she does, I’d highly recommend this place.

I got to be honest, I hate waxing, it’s painful, weird and just unattractive!
I have pretty much had the same girl waxing me for years and I was terrified going to a new place!
First off, I was about 5 min late, I called in and explained I was running in the crazy hot weather and was sweating my (invisible) balls off, poor girl having to wax me!
When I arrived I asked for a bathroom, I felt like I was frantic but I was mostly hot and nervous.
Jennifer was the best, she was so warm and welcoming.
She made me feel comfortable and she was very professional!
I had a great chat with her even though the circumstances were somewhat odd ;)
The job she did was very good and all the great reviews really make this place Justice!
I will be back for sure, even if I move further away!

I was looking for a new waxing place nearby and I definitely found «the one»! Jennifer is amazing! She is quick, professional, efficient, helpful and such a sweetheart. As an added bonus they use Eminence skin care which I happen to find marvelous. Can’t wait to go back for a facial.

Tanis has the largest Selection of Eminence products in Los Angeles. –today I am rejuvenating with #neroli age corrective hydrating mist — my face is glowing and looks edible. I’ve been on the hunt for a new Esthetician. I loved my former Esthetician and had been loyal to her for over 10 years but had to part ways because she relocated to a further location. She new my skin, and I didn’t know if I would ever find someone to replace her. I found Jennifer on Unilocal,and everything about her and the spa suits me perfectly.
The spa uses organic products, a line from Europe. The products felt like butter on my skin. Jennifer’s techniques, application and neck/​hand massage also tells me she knows what she is doing. I will be back for a microdermabrasion facial and will update my review. I’m a microdermabrasion addict and get them quarterly. So far I love this place.
