La Perfection Nails

this nail salon is pretty beat but is right next to my gym so ive been a few times. My nail polish always last pretty long and the staff is nice. Prices are really cheap too. Just $ 7 for eyebrows. I like that the prices match how the place looks inside. Its not dirty at all it is just time for a renovation.

This nail salon has been around for a while, and I must give them credit for that. However, the location is in a prime spot for customers, which I would say definitely assists because this salon is not special and quite frankly went downhill in recent years and doesn’t rank even as average in my books. I’ve long since stopped going here for pedicures. I prefer a pedicure that takes the time to include as many scrubs/​lotions/​massage time as possible, and I’ve found better salons for this. I also don’t care for their limited selection of polishes — not many OPI or Essie brand ones. There are OPI bottles under the front counter that at one time were for purchase, but the main selection available to choose from are brands I haven’t heard of.
Occasionally I stop in for an eyebrow wax when I’m desperate to get them done and in a hurry. While there is rarely a long wait, the pace is tipped too far in the other direction. You feel very rushed because the waxer has left their patron to attend to your eyebrows. It all feels very much like they take you in real fast to make a quick buck. I even experienced a waxing where the waxer appeared to have been finishing her lunch.
The work itself reflects the pace. Don’t expect any lotion to calm down the red skin around your eyes. You’re in and out real quick.
Not a place I’d go to for much more than an eyebrow wax, if that.

Not even a week before I had gotten my gel manicure; some of the paint has started to chip in areas that were not nearly applied.

I’ve been going to LA Nails for years now after a coworker recommended. I have never had an issue with my nails. My mani & pedi’s last for weeks which is great. Since BeBe took over, I’ve seen a major change in the salon & staff. Would definitely recommend!

I will not recommend this place, the wait was 40 minutes and I had an appointment, the nails was done so bad that it came off 2 days after, I went back to fix them and after she was done she charges me 25.00 (REALLY) Please consider going else where.

I live in North Brunswick and there’s a nail salon within walking distance from me, but I always go here, to LA Perfection. I’ve never left unsatisfied. I’ve been going to this nail salon for about 5 years now! I get acrylics, manicures, pedicures. I got my mom and sister to go here and all three of us are never disappointed! Great customer service, great prices, great atmosphere!

Tried this salon for the first time the other day. Was very happy with my pedi! Kim did a great job and gave me a great massage. Price was good too. I’ll definitely be going back! I also brought my daughter in later that day and she also loved it.

I always go to Bebe for my manis and pedis. Her nail art is beautiful and she is such a sweetheart. Conveniently located by my gym which is a plus.

I’ve been going to LA PERFECTION for a while now. I go to BEBE. She sits first desk on left. She is amazing. I get my real nails wrapped and I can go 4 weeks on a fill. If you want an absolutely amazing pedicure ask for Kim.
I made an appointment for today and normally Bebe is off on Mondays… she came in just for me because she didn’t want to cancel my appointment when she realized she booked my appointment on her day off.
If yiu pay cash you get a significant discount :)
You can walk in but if you want to go to Bebe I don’t recommend it. She’s always booked in advance by us regulars.

Horrible! Just wasted an hour of my life. Waited 15 minutes at first (fine). Then they put me in pedicure chair to soak feet (fine). 30 minutes later, water is cold, feet are wrinkly and still no one doing my nails. When I got up with wet feet, the «manager» pretty much ignored me. She spoke in Vietnamese to the women around her and then said the next person would be free in 15 minutes. What!?! So I’d be sitting for another 15 minutes in cold water. Not even an apology! I walked out to the 31° weather in wet feet and flip flops. Ridiculous.

Tried this place twice because my normal salon is closed on Mondays. Prices are normal but the quality isn’t the best. I think I give better pedicures. LOL. The guy did my toes and I swear I think I was only in that seat for 10 minutes. It’s like he was trying to get me in and out. Nothing relaxing about that!
My other salon gives me a foot and leg massage, uses hot towels and use a good polish that lasts a month. This guy — his Nail polish lasted a week… Then his massage chair was broken. Wtf? So bad on service and bad on quality. Don’t recommend.

Worst pedicure I have ever had in my life! They seem to be very «money-​hungry» or cheap as I call it. I went in because it was conveniently located in the area I was working. During the pedicure, they didn’t massage my feet or shins and the water in the foot bath was cold and only filled half-​way.
Worst of all, I got an ingrown toenail and an infection from the pedicure. The staff doesn’t seem very skilled and cut my big toe with a cuticle cutter (not a toenail clipper). The place didn’t seem too bad on the cleanliness when I first walked in but the fact that I got an infection on my big toe proves that they aren’t clean at all.
I would highly recommend going to another nail salon in the area. Avoid this nail salon at all costs!

The man split my teo nails and they’re still bleeding. They don’t wash there pedicure stations. He kept redoing my toes because they were so bad. I will never be back again. The owner was the biggest bitch you’ll ever meet and won’t give you your money back or even care/​acknowledge the problem. They’re money hungry. The pedicure is $ 30 and then if you want them to «scrub» your feet it’s an extra $ 5. So you’re paying $ 30 to have your feet sit in cold dirty water and have them dried and a horrible paint job. No massage at all. This business will be gone in 2 years from having no customers.

No! I went here because they had an appointment available when I needed it, so at least that’s good (my normal place did not). The pedicure was fine, although the guy tried to upsell me the whole time and then really rushed it. The manicure was horrendous. He pushed down so hard that two of my cuticles are still hurting 3 days later, and one is bleeding. Save yourself the aggravation and the pain.

Came in for convenience– and although I was not looking for ambiance, I was looking for cleanliness, which this place is not. They did a sloppy job on the mani and pedi and it just felt rushed — even though there was not many customers. Wouldn’t recommend to anyone.

I’ve only been here to wax my eyebrows and I don’t have any complaints. Ask for Tina, she does an awesome job!

It has been exactly one week and my nails have already begun to chip! I thought the Shellac was supposed to last longer than a regular manicure…

I had a great experience both times I visited this nail salon. They give you service with a smile and make sure you have a great experience while you are there.
The first time I went, I walked in for a fill in and pedicure without an appointment and was greeted with a smile. I waited two minutes before being ushered to the pedicure chair. The young lady who did my pedicure did a fabulous job.
After my pedicure, Trish performed my acrylic fill-​in and did an outstanding job. When she was done, my nails were flawless. Trish was extremely friendly and professional. She worked quickly, but with precision to make sure that my wrap was smooth and that my nails looked extremely natural.
My next visit (this time I made an appointment with Trish) was just as good as the prior visit and again Trish proved her expertise because my nails looked great.
I was her last client of the day and the salon was ready for closing before my nails were dry, yet they did not rush me, they were extremely patient and bid me farewell after I was done.
I love this place and will be back every two weeks for my fill in with Trish.
