Established in 1946.

A furniture refinisher since he was 17 years old, Alex Reyes has been working at Floyd E. Rosini and Sons for over 40 years. In 1989 he became president of the company and in 2001 he moved the business from Forest Hills to East Elmhurst, NY. For over four decades he’s been the best kept secret in furniture repair providing excellent customer service for clients like Cartier and the Shubert Organization to prominent designers like Josi Morales.

We have been with Alex of Rosini & Sons for over 10 years. Alex has reupholstered our dining room chairs, foyer bench, vanity chair, Louis XV desk chair, corrected caning on table, refinished wood on same table, and EVERY job came out perfect-​a word we don’t use so easily!!!
He provides excellent customer service, with on-​time pick-​up and delivery, answers emails in a timely manner, and is very kind.
We highly recommend this company.

I just had a chair beautifully redone by Alex Reyes, at Rosini & Sons. It looks better than I could have imagined it. Alex stripped it, repainted it with an «aged» effect, and reupholstered it – all to my exact specifications. He provides pick-​up and delivery, periodic updates (via email and text) and was all around very pleasant to work with. You’ll find the pricing for his work on the higher end of things, but truly worth it, especially if the piece is valuable to you. Flawless work.
