History
Established in 1979.
Celebrating over 35 years of producing high-powered events, Marx Entertainment has evolved as one of the busiest disc jockey service in New England. From its inception in 1979 as a one-system operation, the company performs before more than 100,000 people each year and has included the President of the United States and international personalities as clients. As a young DJ, consummate entertainer and owner Mark Ashe had the vision to take the DJ out of the club and onto the traditional turf of the live entertainer to make the DJ the preferred choice for wedding and corporate events. Mark drew on early skills acquired while earning a college degree in Telecommunication Technology and successfully completing an internship at radio station ROCK 102. To realize his vision, he trained a cadre of disc jockeys while building an outstanding public image foundational to his company.
