Zen & Now is a wellness studio in Niantic, CT offering a wide variety of fitness classes: Yoga, Hot Vinyasa Yoga, Baptiste Hot Power Yoga, Group Cycling, TRX, PiYo, Pilates, and interval training classes. We also offer workshops ranging from nutrition and medication management to meditation and chakra balancing.

Our mission is to create an environment and programs that encourage continuous participation. We want to be your fitness community. We want to help you to feel good about yourself and what you are doing to improve your health and wellness.

Our instructors care about your well-​being and will work to provide classes that excite you about healthy living. We offer a wide variety of fitness activities that complement each other. Our classes aim to improve your strength, flexibility, and overall body awareness. Our goal is to help you find better balance for the way you live your life, improving your physical balance, reducing stress, and developing a more positive outlook on life.

Meet the Business Owner

Lisa B.

Business Owner

Lisa Bragaw has been practicing yoga for 15 years, and instructing since 2008. She is also a pharmacist specializing in Medication Therapy Management.

Lisa has found a balance between her pharmacy career and her passion for yoga and fitness, and is very excited to incorporate both roles in a wellness center. In her role as consultant pharmacist and providing medication management counseling services to patients, Lisa often recommends exercise and breathing techniques to complement medication regimens in an effort to improve her patients’ health and wellbeing. In fact, Lisa came to practice yoga regularly to improve her own health after suffering repetitive strain injuries in her neck and back related to work. She found yoga to be a great way to release stress, reduce pain and create balance in her body and her life.

Lisa is certified in Yoga, TRX, Spin, PiYo, Medication Management, Diabetes and Lipid Management, and is also a certified immunizer.
